In 2001, Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, Sonia Sotomayor, said:
“I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”
Embarrassed by the unspinnably blatant racial prejudice contained in the remark, Obama did his best damage control by claiming “I’m sure she would have restated it” if she had it to redo.
Which is fine. Everyone misspeaks from time to time.
But that begs the question: “What did she mean to say?”
I speculate thusly:

* “My decisions are based on the plain meaning of the written law. My job as a judge is to set aside my personal biases and make the decision that the law demands. If the politicians don’t like it, they’re free to write a new law, but that’s THEIR job, not mine.”

Sotomayer wouldn’t even make it as a juror! I shudder to think she is actually a judge. She should be taken off the bench with the manical remarks she makes.
Everyone has been focusing on the Latino woman/white man thing. I thought it was interesting that she referred to herself as a “wise” latino woman. Most folks gifted with wisdom do not refer to themselves as wise. Just goes to show you the typical arrogance of the left.

We can’t hold this against her, because Sonia Sodomizór is confident that once she is seated on the SCOTUS, the percentage of her decisions being overturned will improve considerably.
In other words, the decisions made by a white man are generally wrong or irrelevant because, as we all know, white people don’t have any experiences.
Seriously now, c’mon; what have white people ever done in the way of advancing civilization? I mean aside from just about everything people the world over use & enjoy that helps them live longer, talk on the phone, email, drive around, and so on. Whites (or gueros, as Sotomayor might call them) have no richness of experiences. All those European examples of culture are invalid because, as the racial status-quo will tell you, they are not of a genuine race experience.
Except for maybe the Jews. But we all know they don’t count, as they are Jewish…just ask Obama’s political patron Jimmuh Carter how much they actually matter.
Renaissance art? Pshaw, that’s nothing as compared crucifixes made out of tin & aluminum, or velvet paintings of Elvis. And nothing screams advanced culture like a Mexican fast food chihuahua wearing a beret.
Inventions? They all pale in comparison to one four-letter word: TACO. What I really meant was I hope that if Charles Johnson, Ron Paul, and I were in a room together, we could probably solve the debates between evolution and creation and isolationism versus global economies, and I would look the most sane in the process.

Depends on what you mean by “improved”: percentage goes up? or percentage goes down? If she joins the minority opinion, the dissent, I would count that as having had her decision overturned.
