Yes, this is a hymn in praise of the joyous wonders of Oregon’s Obamacare exchange.
Yes, it really is a song about the “freedom” provided by a government mandate, and using “your own wings” in a system that’s paid for by someone else.
The fact that the writer of this song does NOT note the irony of it – in fact, he’s quite sincere – is (one of the many reasons) why I hate hippies.
Ya know, when *I* watch it, I’m picturing it as an allegory for Obama’s death panel victims flying off to heaven.
Except in heaven, the music will be a LOT better.
I’m glad hippies tend to gather in regions of the country prone to earthquakes and volcanoes.
It must be part of their subconscious death-wish – which also explains why they promote policies and activities which will destroy the very freedoms they demand.
(Don’t tell them about the New Madrid fault line – or they’ll be swarming the mid-south too.)
What do you call sky diving lawyers?

Seen that movie….
It’s people. Soylent Green is made out of people. They’re making our food out of people. Next thing they’ll be breeding us like cattle for food. You’ve gotta tell them. You’ve gotta tell them!
Except in heaven, the music will be a LOT better.
Absolutely. In heaven, the angels play Bach for God. When they play for themselves, they play Mozart, but God listens.

I guess Lex Luthor had the right idea the whole time.
#6 – FredKey,
Motivation is SO important.
If Lex Luthor had hijacked those 2 missiles because he wanted to nuke-punch all the hippies, he might have been a great humanitarian.
However, since he was a eeevil land-speculating capitalist, he’s just a super villain.
The purpose of Oregon is so that sane Washingtonians can say “Heh, look at the stupid hippies!”
