Straight Line of the Day: President Obama Said “Islam Has Been Woven Into the Fabric of Our Country Since Its Founding”. For Example…

Works like this: I feed you Moon Nukers a straight line, and you hit me with a punch line in the comments.

President Obama said “Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding”. For example…

  1. It led to the re-establishment of The Continental Navy.

“It follows then as certain as that night succeeds the day, that without a decisive naval force we can do nothing definitive, and with it, everything honorable and glorious.” G. Washington

In March 1785, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams went to London to negotiate with Tripoli’s envoy, Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman (or Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja). When they enquired “concerning the ground of the pretensions to make war upon nations who had done them no injury”, the ambassador replied:

” It was written in their Koran, that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every mussulman who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to paradise. He said, also, that the man who was the first to board a vessel had one slave over and above his share, and that when they sprang to the deck of an enemy’s ship, every sailor held a dagger in each hand and a third in his mouth; which usually struck such terror into the foe that they cried out for quarter at once.”

Paying the ransom would only lead to further demands, Jefferson argued in letters to future presidents John Adams, then America’s minister to Great Britain, and James Monroe, then a member of Congress. As Jefferson wrote to Adams in a July 11, 1786, letter, “I acknolege [sic] I very early thought it would be best to effect a peace thro’ the medium of war.” Paying tribute will merely invite more demands, and even if a coalition proves workable, the only solution is a strong navy that can reach the pirates, Jefferson argued in an August 18, 1786, letter to James Monroe: “The states must see the rod; perhaps it must be felt by some one of them … Every national citizen must wish to see an effective instrument of coercion …”

“From what I learn from the temper of my countrymen and their tenaciousness of their money,” Jefferson added in a December 26, 1786, letter to the president of Yale College, Ezra Stiles, “it will be more easy to raise ships and men to fight these pirates into reason, than money to bribe them.”

  4. …were it not for the prohibitive tariffs demanded for safe passage across the Arabian Peninsula, Ferdinand and Isabella would not have seen any need to search for another route to acquire silk and black pepper.

Wool. It’s a fabric of our country and it sucks. I’m sorry for those of you who like wool. You probably like blood sausage too. Wool is made from sheep. Sheep are frequently victims of sex-starved perverts. Sharia controlled countries hide their women away in tightly controlled areas, hide them from view under cumbersome garments, don’t allow them to go to school where boys might have access to them. In short, Muslims are sex-starved perverts. So then, coming full circle, we see that a fabric like wool which is hot, itchy, and in all likelihood contaminated by some sex-starved muslim, is proof that yes it’s true sadly. Islam is woven into our fabric. My advice is to skip the wool. Choose cotton. Now there’s a nice Christian fabric for you.

  6. …with our first Muslim president we can see our Constitution unraveling.

…our first national fashion statement was the suicide vest, or as it was nicknamed, giving anti-freedom scum/liberals the right to vote.

…after 1776 the Indians quit scalping white people and started beheading them, using social media smoke signals to spread their terror.

  7. If not for Islam, Europe would not have sought a westerly route to India and Asia. When Constantinople fell in the mid 1400s, it put a serious damper on European trade with the Far East. Rather than continue to deal with the Muslims, Europe sought an alternative route. Columbus was convinced he could sail west and reach the coast of India. He didn’t make it, of course.

The land masses we now refer to as North and South America would have no doubt eventually been discovered, but the country we refer to as the United States would almost certainly not have come to be.

    Yeah.

That’s a pretty crappy punch line, but if that doesn’t prove how instrumental Muslims have been in creating this country, I don’t know what would.

  8. … George Washington, the fatwa of his country, often said “I didn’t get a haram from that guy”; Thomas Paine spread “The crISIS”; and Ben Franklin drew that “Join Or Die” beheaded snake and bragged that Americans must either hang together or they would assuredly hang separately. Good times.

  9. …our Best Picture Oscar nominees included “Dhimmihood”, “The Immolation Game”, “American Jihadi”, “The Grand Babylon Hotel”, “BirdImam”, “Mosul”, “The Theory of Everything Islamic”, and “Whiplash”.

  10. “Millions for defense but not one cent in tribute!”, was woven into our lexicon. The words, fight our country’s battles to the shores of Tripoli, were woven into the Marine Corps hymn. Muslim’s were to the fabric of our nation like the Boll Weevil was to our cotton. A scourge that we dealt with.
