  1. Hey! Enough on the anti-Global Warming tirade! This morning it’s freezing outside (5 degrees below the norm) and all I can think of is the fact that without Global Warming we’d be even colder!
    …..
ummmm, wait…there’s something wrong with that logic…mmmmmm….I’ll get back to ya.

  2. After I shot Ewell Gibbons and buried him in my back yard I keep getting this weird taste in my Grape Nuts.
My advice: Bury hippies in your Lefty neighbor’s back yard. Unless, of course, you share the same water table as them. You can NEVER get the hippy smell out of anything, I tell ya’.

  3. Global Warming is your friend. It gets way to cold here in Texas during winter, so i intentionally burn more fossil fuels to help it along. Soon my winter heating bill will go down and save me money!!!!

  4. Barney Frank has actually put forward legislation requiring all volcanos to get a muffler installed to filter all the polutants they spew forth or they could be fined.
Also, Michael Moore exposed Mount St. Helens for what it really is: a vast right wing conspiracy. Moore discovered some documents typed up with super script from 1967. There were secret meetings taking place among top republicans back then trying to figure out how to stem this green movement that was beginning and help out their industry buddies. They set up Mount St. Helens to start spewing gasses a factory could only dream of spewing forth in the year 2004. That way, if they started losing the battle against the environmentalists, they could say, “What do you mean we should protect the environment from industry? Look at what the environment is doing to its self!”
    Evil Ninja Monkey Republicans!

  5. If it’s natural, does it count as polluttion? I think for it to be pollution a human has to be involved, otherwise it’s just part of the ecosystem. Stupid hippies, they act as if the climate never changed before humans were around. Today’s climate is warmer than it was in the ice age, cooler than the dinosaur era. Controlling pollution may be a good idea, getting all spastic over a tiny temperature change over a long period af time doesn’t do anybody any good.

  6. My solution, as always, is to destroy everything.
    Frank likes to destroy everything.
    Monkeys like to destroy everything.
Therefore, Frank and the Monkeys are the same.
    Ergo Frank is a monkey.
    😛

  7. Mis-direction as always. Air is not the problem, it’s the lack of Fresh Water. This is why George W. Bush is increasing the levels of Greenhouse gases to Melt the North Pole while the Earth is tilted in our direction, so all the fresh water comes down here before those Canadians can scoop any of it up, eh?
Also why Russia signed Kyoto – to try to stop us from getting all the freshwater, Nyet?
    Mis-direction as always.

  8. “Normally, the state’s No. 1 polluter is a coal-fired power plant owned by the Canadian firm TransAlta. The plant churned out 200 tons a day of sulfur dioxide until regulators demanded $250 million worth of renovations, bringing the level down to 27 tons a day.”
the above quote was taken from that same article. third paragraph down. those damned canucks. heh.
fyi – people, use this website to bypass those pesky registration thingys: http://www.bugmenot.com/

  9. “Greenhouse gases” trap heat in, but nuclear fallout keeps heat out? Let me get this straight. Radioactive particles act as a deflective barrier, but carbon dioxide et al act as one-way gates, like the turnstiles at Disney World. Hmm. So in theory, you could counteract “global warming” with “nuclear winter” and then we would live in a perpetual springtime of bliss! Let’s keep that plan in reserve.
By the way, “scientists” have been awfully quiet lately about that alleged hole in the ozone layer, haven’t they? That’s because they now feel that by 2060, the hole over Antarctica will be closed. Surprise, surprise. It was cyclical after all! And evidence that there was an ozone hole during the last ice age seems to minimize the notion that it was caused by manmade CFCs, doesn’t it?
As a proud recipient of a Bachelor’s of Science in engineering, I can state from experience that about 60% of “scientists” and “professors” don’t know WTH they’re talking about 80% of the time. They get so caught up in their theories and imaginary implications that they more often resemble science fiction nerds wanting to tell an exciting story (“Day After Tomorrow,” anyone?) than actual investigators/experimenters hoping to find real answers to real questions. Or on the other hand, they are leftover statisticians or accountant rejects from business school who look at trends and draw inane conclusions from them. “The average temperature this year was one degree warmer than last year! If this trend continues, by 2104, the average temperature on earth will be 174 degrees Fahrenheit!” (This is the same mentality of those guys who lose their shirts daytrading, BTW.) Now if somebody would get off their can and finally introduce a working Unified Theory that blows quantum mechanics out of the water, then maybe I’ll start buying into definitive predictability. Woo. Go global warming!

  10. You people are wikky-wakky idiots! Didin’t you see the Day After Tommorrow?!?! We are obviously headed for a new ice because a movie said so! (movies never lie) We are all DOOMED, unless we drop everthing we are doing and donate all our money to Greenpeace and Hydrogen fuel research! BTW what would they call the sequel to that movie? The Day After the Day After Tommorrow or 2 Days After Tommorrow?
Fun Fact: the Japanese language has one word that descibes the phrase “Day after tommorrow” – Asatte.

  11. The previous ozone hole was obviously the result of all those cavemen cooling the caves with a/c and using spray on deoderant and hairspray. those morons! Either that, or it was Halliburton factories spewing forth pollution as they rendered oil from dinosaur fat to run the SUVs
