New RightWing Sympathy Cards – Featuring Jiggy

Over at RightWingNews, I read about the newest abortion sympathy cards offered online.
What do you offer a mother who just killed her unborn child? An E-Card of course!!
Which leads me to launch the creation of new IMAO cards.
Here’s my newest character just for right wing causes.
Jiggy!

  1. Marsellus: What now? Lemme tell you what now. I’m gonna call up a couple a hard, pipe-hittin’ n****rs and go to work on the holmes here with a pair a pliars and a blowtorch. You hear me talkin’ Hillbilly Boy? I ain’t through wit h you by a damn site. I’m gonna get medieval on your ass.

  2. Merely naming the character “Jiggy” is, to me, an overly subtle threat to dance on someone’s grave. To establish your concept in the public mind, what the advertisers call “branding”, you need a “hook”, a mnemonic device which will remind people of the name. Here’s the memetic infection model you want:
Person A (political moderate, exposed but meme-resistant): My boss just got caught for DUI. I wish there were an appropriate card I could send him, like with that guy who dances on peoples’ graves.
Person B (conservative, meme-carrier): Search on-line for “Jiggy sympathy-free cards”. Remember, he’s not just dancing, he’s doing a jig on peoples’ graves!
Person A (new meme-carrier): Thanks, I’ll do that!
Person B: And don’t forget to check out their new Jiggy t-shirts with sympathy-free quotes from Judge Roy Bean, Frank J., and Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio!
    Person A (new conservative): T-shirts? What a good idea! I’m thinking I need a “Tancredo ’08” t-shirt now, too.
See how it could work? You missed an opportunity here: any death-penalty associated Jiggy cards (at least until your “brand” is well established) should feature an animated .gif of Jiggy doing a jig on someone’s grave.
