On the front page of his site, Kos decided to make fun of the color of McCain’s teeth in a website graphic. Considering that McCain had his teeth knocked out by the North Vietnamese even most of the Daily Kos commenters seemed disgusted with the post, and those guys eat their own feces so it’s pretty hard to disgust them. I really think Kos has completely lost it. My fearless political prediction is that next year he will be a hobo living on the streets, and Glenn Reynolds will murder him between sips of puppy.
As much as they want to pretend voting for McCain would be the same as voting for W’s third term, they’re not the same man.
Their strengths and weaknessess have practically no overlap.
Hey, maybe next Markos can make fun of McCain’s limited range of motion thanks to having his bones broken repeatedly. He probably laughs at Bob Dole too for having a permanently injured right arm.

Frank: AFAIK McCain was held prisoner by the North Vietnamese. The Viet Cong operated in South Vietnam (i.e. South of the 17th Parallell) while the NVA (North Vietnamese Army) operated in North Vietnam. Pedantic, perhaps, but it’s a mistake that is worth correcting.
