The most sensible proposals are always first satire and fiction, then someone asks, “What if?” Someone else asks, “Why not?” After enough people ask, “Why not?” there is an argument about whether it should be done.
Sadly, that’s how Socialism spreads, too. But we hope that meritorious ideas will rise and we hope that this one will, too.
I don’t know if I’d call this a meritorious idea, but I’d love to see it discussed, just to watch the VERY uncomfortable look on the faces of liberals worried that they might be on wrong end of the gravy train for once…
