The Warrior Song
What I really like about this song is that it’s in a cadence format, so the guys in uniform could sing this one while they’re marching around.
Had it been written 70 years ago, this is the song that General Patton would have sung in the shower.
Pass this one along to anyone you know in theater. Veteran’s Day is coming up. It’d make the perfect gift.

Not quite sure how that could rock more. Will order and put in Halo soundtrack mix.

I had to get up out of my chair and march to the coffee pot.

Wish they had this song out a few years ago. I would have blasted this on patrols and raids. Instead we had the theme from Team America, Roll out, and Peace Train by Cat Stevens.

Something about the song made me think about how we really need to find a way to time travel George S. Patton to modern times, and then make him a cyborg. Imagine that, Cyborg Patton. Technically, he would be the most senior officer in the army, because he was never discharged, would have the oldest date of rank, and would be a cyborg. Also, imagine Obama, when Cyborg Patton just starts ignoring his orders, and starts attacking enemies of America.
Obama “I told you not to attack Iran. Europe took away my peace prize. Now it is nothing but a sheet of glass now!”
Patton, slapping Obama “Why you yellow belly f**ing coward!” Slapping again, “Now why don’t you grow a pair, grab a rifle, and get back into the fight you d**n son of a f***ing communist.”
It would have promise.

OK, let the incoming rain of yellow & brown descend upon my head. Never-the-less, I’ll finally utter my opinion (I’ve been silent all day)
I did NOT like, nor have I passed on this “song”.
Pics are great. The sentiment is great. Lyrics are generally great.
The “cadence” seems/sounds too much like rap, and some lyrics “seemed/felt” like a Leftist accusation.

That couldn’t rock more even if it was painted with flaming skulls and was nitrous injected with a GE Mini-Gun mounted on the front.
The only downside is the need to download it off iTunes only since Apple is run by a bunch of Hippies that sold out for money, but still spread being filthy hippies.

As Melissa Clouthier says: Nobody rocks the house like the United States Marine Corps. Her proof is at her post at Right Wing News. Different music style but good for a few laughs at least and more than a few impressive displays of military might for the ladies. And yeah, that was an awesome song Harvey.

MDr - not gonna dump on you. I know what you mean about that “rappiness”. Not normally my thing, either.
I also understand how the lyrics feel like an accusation. Hippies say a lot of the same things, but they say them in the mocking, high-pitched, nasally voice which is their normal voice. After a while, their shrill, whiney voices sound normal, and it’s easy to forget what men who kill for a living sound like when they talk.
It’s like when hippies say “You killed women & children!”. A soldier will shrug & say “Yeah, and I’ll kill their f’n puppy dog, too, if he’s dumb enough to stand between my grenade and a terrorist that’s shootin’ at me.”
Anyway, the song is more FOR the guys doing the fighting than ABOUT them, so not everyone will enjoy it, and that’s fine.
Some people support the troops.
I support killing terrorists.
That’s why I like this song.

I think Patton DID sing this in the shower, and it was so awesome that it traveled through time to us, because we need it so badly.

I’m almost 50, and I wish I could be 17 and do my enlistment all over again!!
THIS ROCKS!!!
Maybe we should pipe this into the White House’s bedroom and see if Obambi grows a pair,(or at least have the guts to ask his wife if he can borrow hers….)

Out Fucking Standing! This will be on the CrackBerry!
Perfect tune to clean the AK and M14 to also.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:19 am
Patton wouldn’t have reserved this for a shower, he’d have ordered loudspeakers mounted on the Shermans and blasted it all the way across France.

Hi folks,
I am in PEELS of laughter right now from these comments, you guys, and am so filled with pride I’m ready to bust. What a brilliant bunch.
If any of you are enlisted men or women, or have ever been, please shoot me an email and I’ll send you a copy of the song.
Sean
“Cyborg Patton” would rule the f–king world. I am going to write a song about THAT next, Martin. With your permission of course…
