  1. Man, losing to Scott is one thing… but have you ever read that piece of cr*p you lost Honorable Mention to?
Even if I was a left-winger I wouldn’t find it funny… Obviously, Washington Post readers have the sense of humor of a 12 year old (no offense, Scott)

  2. Regarding this travesty, I contacted the Post today, and they informed me that because of you being from Florida and all, that most of our votes got spoilt somehow, and they weren’t able to count them. I’m saying we need to let SCOTUS take a look at this.

  3. Maaaan, I voted for you, but there was this dude Chad hanging around and I think he messed up some ballots!
I’m a LLL, and I agree that the site that got the Honorable Mention is sucky. It is so not funny! They must have gone to a whole lot of cemetaries to get enough votes to win.

  4. You don’t want to win anyway. As soon as you do, elite snobs will say you “sold out” and that you’re not as good as you once were.
Critical acclaim is where it’s at! Who needs fortune and glory?

  6. Class clown assumes you’re joking. Since we all know that you speak TRUTH, calling you class clown would be a derision of the truth.
And no, this wasn’t posted with Karl Rove looking over my shoulder…

  7. In all seriousness Frank, you aren’t as funny as you used to be, and you don’t visit (e.g. comment) at other people’s sites.
You used to hit a home run every other day. One of the great features was that no one knew where you were going to go. Now. Meh. Most of the funny stuff is one-liners by bit characters. It’s good stuff – great, in fact. But it isn’t what it used be a year ago.
And my other point is that in the blog-o-sphere, people are more likely to visit & link people who mention their posts or visit and comment. Maybe I don’t go to the same sites you do (but I go to a lot of sites), but I’ve not often seen comments by the great FrankJ. And I think I should. You are damn funny man – spread it around.
Please don’t take this comment as insulting – that isn’t the intent. My intent is to provide my perspective on why you didn’t have a great showing at the WaPo poll – which I think you should have.
Hopefully you can recall what made your posts so funny and work that back into your work.
    Good luck.
