Remember this Fred Thompson fact:
“Fred Thompson once stood on our south border and glared at Mexico. There was no illegal immigration for a month.”
If you thought I was making things up, here’s Fred Thompson telling us what he thinks about the Mexican government.
Foreign leaders should realize that it’s a very bad thing if Fred Thompson knows your name.

Fred must run. I think we should pass a law demanding it!
I’m liking Fred more and more. A ticket with him and Gov. Romney would definitely get my vote. Either could be president.
Add Ms. Malkin and Ms. Colter in cabinet positions and I think even “Global Warming” would run for cover.
Run Fred Run….
i’m guessing there’s a reason fred’s been filling in for paul harvey so much…
the last few mornings have been more like short stump speeches than anything…
he just needs to continue building momentum like he is, though. it’s still too early to jump in w/ both feet. maybe after the summer… an “out of left field” primary win would be much more dramatic.
He can fill in for Paul Harvey and get free publicity at the same time.
Fred Thompson is the only Republican I like right now. RUN, Fred, RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNN! (Straight through Hillary and into the Oval Office!)
WARNING! WARNING! If Orin Judd likes Fred that means Fred likes open borders.

Warning! Warning! The Anonymous poster doesn’t know how to follow links and listen to what Freddo has to say about the border. Mindless Defamation in progress. Repeat, Mindless Defamation in progress.
DE- LOL! Thanks!
I think he is using this time to get his views “on the record” so he can just point back to show number such a such to confirm that his position on issue so and so is “well documented”. Smart tactic.
Aside from being a great guy, intelligent individual and conserative…remember he has been to HollyWood and survived. Come election time he might get a few dozen Hollywood votes. Thats way more than the other Republican candidates will get!
Please run Fred! Please!
I would explode with happiness to see a Fred Thompson/Michael Steele ticket in ’08.
I would be happy to vote for the first time in a long time. I’ve been holding my nose while I do it for too long!
