McCain had to snatch the mike away from a woman when she said, “I’m scared of Barack Obama… he’s an Arab terrorist…”
Come on, people. I’ve never heard one credible piece of evidence that Barack Obama is Arab.

He didn’t blow her head off with a Glock? WTF?!
OMG. I think you’re maverick just exploded! LOL
Have you noticed that Obama is becoming more prevalent. There are many hoary sentiments on this wide ranging issue. Let’s get down to brass tacks. John McCain comes low on my list. Perhaps I can’t reflect upon this. Like Kelso would say, “NOT cool!”. You will succeed when you try to use that way. You can’t pull the wool over my eyes. This could change. This it the benefit of Democrats. Maybe that was a bad example. You can’t have it both ways about President so you had better be comfortable with Obama because I think that will be easy to pull off. Based on my experience, what I see about President. Oh no you didn’t!. I have a massive collection of Obama.
McCain booed after telling crowd… (Via HotAir)
Oh, I’m really calmed down now.
The man is seriously conflicted. You don’t respect a liar.
I guess the H middle name is not evidence.
After all, Tupac Shakur was not an Inca king.
Well, said, “PraiseOsama”. Just one question. Uh…WHAT?!? Put the bong on the ground and STEP AWAY!
Anyway, back to grown-up talk. I couldn’t agree with you more, Frank. There is absolutely no excuse for over-reacting and calling Obama an Arab. Especially not when one has so many perfectly legitimate reasons to fear him, like the fact that he is a white-hating, race-baiting, terrorist-sympathizing, Chicago political-machine hack, as well as a community-organizing communist, and a civil rights loon and defeatist.
But clearly not an Arab.
“McCain grabbed the mike away?”
What? Did I see the same YouTube vid?
The woman was basically done
stammeringtalking, and he calmly took it from her hand. While I’m equally glad that that many people are also afraid of an Obama presidency, and equally infuriated when no one including McCain calls the Dems on their BS and equal share of the blame, McCain is the one who looks Presidential by not trashing his opponent.
Obama has said NOTHING but trash for McCain or Bush. But that’s pretty typical – those who gots no game trashes those who do.
Yeah, mockbadoc, and McCain “respects him.”
I’m really, really deeply confused now about John McCain. He’s demonstrating that he’s not up to the job. He’s not the fighter he pretends to be. Should we conclude that he doesn’t want it? I see no other explanation.
I see incompetence regardless of who’s president now.
I’m normally the person that watches until late into the night on election day knowing it’s not over til its over. But since McCain refuses to get tough on Obama and even told people that they should not be scared of an Obama presidency and now the Palin findings, I’m becoming very concerned about our chances of winning.
Please, someone tell me this is all a bad dream and I will wake up to Romney or Thompson on the top of the ticket with Jindal as Veep and a solid 15 point lead!!
Sorry I’m just having a hard time seeing the glass half full anymore.
Fighting Democrats would cramp his style. He’s a maverick, after all. I still can’t believe I have to vote for this guy. Thanks, GOP!
PammyV, in my travels today, I found everyone just dumbfounded about what is going on. I mentioned the story to everyone I could (4 total) about the guy on the radio who said something like: “Don’t panic and withdraw your money from the banks! Just remember, you’ve got your ATM card and that’s cash. If everyone pulls their money, it’ll be more useless quicker with the banks collapsing than if you just go on as normal.”
Once everyone “gets their cash out of the market,” they will wake up the next day and realize they have to go to work. Life will go on.
That Mad TV jingle comes to mind: “Low-ered ex-pec-ta-tions.”
There’s a reason that people are upset. Our candidate is a jackass.
Our choice is an Kenyan terrorist or the legendary “maverick”. Apparently, as of a few years ago, the definition of the word maverick has changed to: Hates Republicans, and always does whatever socialist democrats do.
Jackass? Well, how about a confused, middle-of-the-road, ‘moderate,’ compromising, across the aisle, non-extremist, have it both ways, now he’s a constitutionalist now he’s a socialist, let’s be reasonable about it, pay your taxes and take your choice, a little of this and a little of that, don’t argue with me, Washington insider, good ‘ol boy, oligarchical Republican?
Slam it, McCain.
Jimmy (and everyone else);
I’m just glad I have others to shake my head with. It just doesn’t make sense. Has McCain given up? Does he have something amazing in his pocket?
There better be something good in the wings. The ONLY thing that keeps me hopin’ is that Gore had and 11% lead at this time in 2000.
I disagreed with McCain’s policy much of the time, but the things I liked about McCain was his “straight talk”, his humor, and his spunk. Unfortunately I haven’t seen much of those things as of late.
The new Obama light, McCAIN!
Unfortunately, like all light products I fear he will leave a bad aftertaste in the collective American mouth.
I wish I hated to say “I told you so” but I’m Irish. I love to say “I told you so” and will tell you so every time the opportunity arises. I know it’s not an attractive quality but at my age that’s pretty much not an issue.
McCain has never been a maverick except to his own party. He has almost always agreed and worked with the other “mavericks” in the Senate. You know those “Conservative Democrats” like Liebernam, Feingold and Kennedy.
McCain and Huckabee are the architects of our current debacle. Congratulations to them and their supporters. I don’t even think Sarah can help them out. I hear Michael Savage is starting a third party. Too bad it won’t be up and running by November. He won’t be the candidate but surely his guy can’t be worse than the two card board cut outs we have now.
Oh and, I told you so.
As I read the news from around the world this morning, I find my sense of humor is lost. China hacking the World Bank, Russia calling for an anti-American alliance with Europe, Bush removing terrorist status from North Korea, China’s military buildup, Russia threatening to sell Iran their best air defense system, Syrian-Iranian-North Korea connection, Syria massing troups on Lebanon’s border, Afghanistan war problems, ACORN voter fraud, Obama lead in the polls, Palin smears, bailouts, pork, financial crisis, people losing their retirements, US to buy into private banks, etc. etc.
Is there an axiom at IMAO that says, “If you can’t say something funny, then don’t say anything at all?”
If so, I think I’ll bow out of here for a while, lest I need a lawyer to advise me of my 1st Amendment rights. ‘Cause I don’t think I should say what I’m thinking anymore.
Instead, I’m going to hot-up my chainsaw and cut trees down on a different island today.
Thanks for your blog, Frank and Sarah.
seanmahair,
You are 100% correct. It was collusion between that idiot Huckabee, a make-pretend conservative, and McCain, a full-blown democrat, that gave us this idiot as a candidate.
Fred ran the worst campaign in the history of campaigns.
If I was to start with a blank slate of names, I don’t know if I’d pick Romney, but given what we had to work with, he would have been fine. So, Huckabee screws up our election, then gets rewarded by FoxNews with a stupid TV show.
Yeah, what we have to choose from this time is a Democrat and a Socialist, radical, terrorist sympathizer. Well, I’ve already cast my ballot. I hope it doesn’t mysteriously turn into a Obama ballot (ACORN).
The press just can’t stand to report anything good about McCain.
The people at his rallys cheer when he or Sarah tell the truth about Obie?
That’s a dangerous incitement to violence!
The crowds are large and boisterous?
Lynch mob!!
McCain tries to tone down the retoric?
He’s lost control, Lock your doors and bar your windows!!!
ACORN under investigation nationwide for voter fraud? Err… Ahh…
Quick! Dig into that pile of last months news! Oh, yeah! We can use this…
Gov. Palin is accused by political enemies in Alaska of trying to get a drunken, abusive state trooper fired! We’re Doomed!!!!
Operating under the assumption that the MSM never tell the truth when a lie will serve their purpose, McCain should be the greatest president in our nations history!
Being a typical white person I am tired of having sand kicked in my face by a typical black person and his racist media friends, where do I show up to riot.
I agree that that slime oozing phoney Baptist from Hope, Arkansas is largely to blame for us being saddled with this dodering old fool for a candidate. If we had Romney talking about the economy we’d be kicking ass right now but that corn pone, religious bigot shafted teh whole country. Now he has a stupid TV show that makes we wanna puke.
Don’t riot.
Organize, plan and initiate an effective insurgancy!
We are going to be faced with an elected Socialist administration that will be gutting the Bill of Rights from day #1.
Hack your local Democrat Party and get their mailing list and contributors.
Start there.
Study what the insurgancies in other countries have done.
It’ll be a long hard, bloody fight because the NeoComs (new Commies) will extract a vicious and bloody retribution for any acts of defiance against the ‘Dear Leader’. And like the Commie swine in North Korea and in Russia teh rank & file Sheeple tend to believe the lies of their Masters. The insurgancy will not be popular at first but we must prevail!
Let me just say one thing…. his religion is Muslim… and yet he cant show us his birth cert??? I got one… MADE IN THE USA CALIFORNIA… POWND IT!!!!
