Time for the Terminator

With all this saving stupid animals from extinction that no one cares about, it’s nice that we’re finally manning up and talking about making one go extinct: the mosquito. They’re a pest, no likes them, they don’t help anyone with anything. Let’s just get rid of them. It just seems like a great idea if we can pull it off.

Next thing to make extinct: squirrels. They annoy me, and I don’t think we need them for anything either. After that, the elephant seal. I don’t know why, but it just rubs me the wrong way for some reason.

So if they start taking votes on what animals to make extinct, what do you want to be rid of? You can’t all say, “Hippies.”

Who Supports Entitled Sociopaths?

So Lisa Murkalucky… Murkooney… Moocowski — something like that — is going to do a write in campaign in Alaska. In the Republican primary, everyone was like, “Go away!” because she was a useless, entitled Senator who was handed the seat by her daddy and it was pretty obvious they could do a lot better, but she’s convinced there’s a large group of people out there who love entitlement and nepotism and know how to spell her name and would just miss her weird weasel face too much. I do not think these people exist. It’s hard to imagine anyone supporting her who isn’t either a blood relative or gets a paycheck from her. Then again, Charlie Crist who has no more principles than that he likes to be elected is getting 30% in some polls. That’s not nearly enough to win, but it’s like who are these people who would vote for this orange sociopath? The media really needs to track down these people and have them explain themselves about why they would vote for the absolute worst example of a politician — everything everyone hates about politicians on full display. Those people scare me, and it’s hard to think they walk among us.

So maybe Lisa Morkuckle will get a few votes, but I hope the people who vote for her feel so much shame they eventually leave society to become monks. Maybe the Buddhist ones that do kung fu.

Random Thoughts

It seems like with each Senate seat Republicans stumble in, another opens up as an opportunity.

The point of CAIR is to convince Americans that all Muslims are either terrorists or whiny apologists for them.

Here’s my review of The Event: “I’ll tell you what the event is: ITS SUCKING!”

I didn’t actually watch The Event.

Lady Gaga’s actual name is Ladersen Gagowski.

Anyone ever propose a bill to blot out Jimmy Carter’s name from the history books?

“Can’t have your cake and eat it too” never made sense to me until I heard someone reverse it. “Can’t eat your cake and have it too” makes the meaning a bit more obvious.

I think a good rule to tell my Dad is that if you’ve only heard of it through an e-mail forward, it’s not true.

I apparently now have MSNBC in HD on my cable. Yay. Now I’ll be able to see each individual fleck of spittle during Keith Olbermann’s rants.

Don’t ask, I’ll tell

The current fake issue of the day is… Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell (DADT).

Yes, it’s a fake issue.

If it was a real issue, the Democrats would have approached yesterday’s vote in another manner. More on how the Democrats could repeal DADT in a moment. For now, we should all be honest and recognize that throwing issues like this into appropriations bills are intended to make political capital, nothing more.

Yesterday, 40 Republican Senators joined Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and two other Democrat Senators in voting against DATA attachments to a defense authorizations bill. Who says the GOP won’t work with the Senate leadership?

What does the vote mean for Republicans? Nothing. Not a single Republican lost a November vote and not a single Democrat picked up a November vote.

Now, if the Senate wants to take on DADT, then the Senate should take on DADT, not back door it. So to speak.

But should the Senate address DADT?

The solution seems simple to me: if the Commander-in-Chief directs military personnel to ignore the current restrictions and to drop all DADT prosecutions. And he can promise (and — this is key — deliver) pardons to anyone who is prosecuted in defiance of his orders. At least, that’s what I would do. And it would work.

Why won’t Obama do it?

He has nothing to gain by doing it.

If he did, the whole issue would go away. No Republican president would revoke the decision after January 20, 2013. DADT would effectively be dead. And, eventually, DADT would come off the books.

But, like I said, Obama won’t do it. Because it would take away a cudgel the Democrats use against Republicans.

Obama and the Democrats don’t want to win the issue. They had large enough majorities to make it happen for a year and a half.

So, what do they want? They want to argue the issue.

Because if they have something to point at and say “Look how unfair this is!” then they have a distraction from the real issues. Like the socialist policies they believe in, and how they are damaging this country.

And that’s damage that no army — no matter how many heterosexuals or homosexuals make up that army — can defend against.

loldemocratlogo!

Apparently the post I did on the Democrats’ new logo has struck a chord with the readership, so I’m post-pwning (so to speak) the regular lol! features for a couple weeks to indulge in a little logo-related fun.

Your assignment this week is to re-work the new Democrat logo/slogan:

And send your image to lolterizt@gmail.com

I’ll post my favorite submissions next week.

Here are some starter images for you, if you don’t want to work from scratch. These (and the logo above) are nice, clean PNG images, delightfully resizable and free of compression artifacts:

Vroom! Vroom! Death from Above!

It’s not quite a dinosaur with rocket launchers on it, but it still looks fun: A flying Humvee!

Die from our awesomeness!

People worry about the carbon footprints of Humvees on land, but now they’re going to leave even bigger carbon footprints in the sky! While shooting people! The only way to make them better would be to have them transform into giant robots when they land and start punching holes through buildings.

In other news the Taliban has unveiled their newest military innovation: Duct taping flashlight to their AK-47s.

Facts About the Vice Presidency, According to Joe Biden

Yesterday, Joe Biden said that he’s 2nd in line of succession for president. Here are some other facts about the vice presidency according to Biden:

FACTS ABOUT THE VICE PRESIDENCY, ACCORDING TO JOE BIDEN

* He’s allowed to vote in the Senate as much as he wants as long as it doesn’t affect the outcome.

* Miami Vice was based on the later years activities of Spiro Agnew.

* According to the Constitution, he gets all the Cheetos he can eat as long as he doesn’t talk during important meetings.

* The first vice president was Benjamin Franklin. The second was Thomas Edison.

* Originally, the vice president lived in a tree house on the White House lawn, but it became infested with owls.

* When he is sleeping, vice presidential duties are taken over by his cat Noodles.

* His only power in the House of Representatives is to be able to demand that Dennis Kucinich do a silly little monkey dance for his amusement, though actually anyone can do that.

* If it’s ever needed, precedent says it’s his job to shoot Timothy Geithner.

* In times of crisis, his job is to stare out the White House window and count how many people walk in front of the building, as he’s been told that’s important data in catching spies.

Bestest Ex-President

Jimmy Carter is claiming he’s been a superior ex-president. And he’s got a great argument for it: “Just look how awesome things got as soon as I stopped being president!”

Anyway, the seventies are a good reminder when things seem down now. Everything really sucked then, but things still eventually got really awesome again in the eighties. So as bad as things are now, one day we can be living the high life while Obama is running around building the houses for the poor or something. So it will be awesome for everyone except all the poor people killed by their house collapsing on them.

Random Thoughts

Easy to tell from listening to old music about when stereo first became popular. “Wow! Singing in one ear and instruments in the other!” I’d wish they’d do a mono sampling of some old Beatles songs because it’s almost too distracting.

They’re having Obama talk again? Bad idea. They should have him appear on TV and just silently look concerned.

The recession ended last summer? So this whole time we’ve been worry over nothing?

So it’s a tax and spend Democrat versus a witch who doesn’t like masturbation. I think the witch might win.

Democrats have almost brought things to the point of, “Yes, he’s a well known rapist, but look at his policy on spending.”

One of these things is not like the other … except where they are

So, Republican Christine O’Donnell is a crackpot because she said that masturbation is lust outside of marriage, and that is equivalent to adultery?

What she actually said was:

“Lust in your heart is committing adultery, and you can’t masturbate without lust.”

Ever heard that part about lust and adultery before?

Sure you have. There is this little book called The Bible. Maybe you’re familiar with it?

“Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.”

— Matthew 5:27-28

Then again, if you only know what you read in the newspapers or hear on the TV, you might have missed that.

Jimmy Carter in Playboy Magazine

Unless you remember the 1976 presidential election, when the Democrat nominee, Jimmy Carter, told Playboy magazine the same thing about lust and adultery:

“The Bible says, ‘Thou shalt not commit adultery.’ Christ said, I tell you that anyone who looks on a woman with lust has in his heart already committed adultery. I’ve looked on a lot of women with lust. I’ve committed adultery in my heart many times…”

Now, Carter did catch a lot of crap about that interview. Part was because he gave the interview to Playboy. Part because of what he said about lust and adultery.

He was the butt of jokes at the time. But, it didn’t cost him the election. It actually helped him in the Bible Belt. The Playboy part didn’t; the Bible quote did.

Will O’Donnell be hurt by the talk about masturbation, lust, and adultery? I don’t know.

Is the media treating her fairly over it?

Well, I haven’t seen any media outlet approach Jimmy Carter for a comment on O’Donnell. That silence says a lot.

Democrats Campaigning Against Democrats

So more Democrats are running against Obamacare than campaigning on it. It’s just a hard thing right now to run as a Democrat when everyone right now just absolutely hates them. But here is one advantage a Democrat has when campaigning: He can show how much he also hates Democrats by legally beating up a Democrat on stage.

Here’s an idea to give a Democrat a boost in the polls: Walk on stage and say, “I know you hate Democrats for all the horrible things they’ve done under Obama, and I hate them even more than you. And I’ll prove it.” Then he can pull out a baseball bat and start whacking himself in the head shouting, “Take that, hippy! Why won’t you just make this country better by dying! I hate you! I hate you!”

Democrat beats up Democrat on stage — that’s got to be worth at least five percentage points in the polls.

Powell Come on Sunday Show for Fun Talkee-Talk!

Why is Colin Powell lecturing Republicans? He can if he wants to, but if he really wants to be taken seriously he better start it with the mother of all apologies.

“First off, I am obviously an epic moron for having supported Barack Obama as there was no reason to look at his background and think he’d do anything other than create this mountain of suck he has made. It was so stupid, it’s surprising I can even put sentences together gurgle wagha. There; now me done forget how to speak good. Me ‘tupid. Please give me hug.”

Really, shouldn’t some retailer have taken away Powell’s smart card and cut in two in front of him by now?

Also, it’s okay he denounce Tea Parties as radical and irrational as long as he also admits they’re obviously much smarter and more rational than he is.

Honeypot

In computer security, a honeypot is something made to look like a valuable part of a computer network to get a hacker to attack it, but is actually a trap meant to redirect hackers’ efforts from more vulnerable parts of the network. I see something similar at work with Christine O’Donnell. She has a number of vulnerabilities such as disgruntled former campaign workers and misspent campaign funds that speak towards O’Donnell’s trustworthiness, but the left isn’t focusing on that because they have the bright shiny things of her speaking against masturbation and saying she dabbled in witchcraft in high school to go after. The left like to ridicule — especially things they see as part of crazy right-wing morals — and there they go after the silly attacks instead of the real ones. And are people who would otherwise support O’Donnell because she’d vote for lower spending not going to vote fore her because she said she tried witchcraft as a kid? Maybe, but that sounds a lot like the patronizing predictions that people wouldn’t vote for Obama because his named sounded foreign.

Anyway, the attacks may hurt some, but the left could be doing a lot more damage than trying to find out if O’Donnell weighs as much as a duck. And it gives her more of a chance.

Random Thoughts

Why is Obama still blaming Bush? Shouldn’t he have locked Bush up by now to keep him from harming the economy?

The best path to unity is for all the RINOs to crawl into holes and die (but please still vote!).

Is there even one enthused supporter for Murkowski who doesn’t get a paycheck from her or is a blood relative?

Does seem like Angle should cruise to victory now that she has O’Donnell to make her look like the sane conservative.

So what happened with Fenty in DC? It was discovered he wasn’t doing coke?

If Michael Moore is so desperate for attention, he should take off his shirt and do the truffle shuffle.

Box of QTips warns not to stick them in your ear and tries to pretend there are other uses for them. Society is nothing but lies.

The worry about nominating O’Donnell was the legitimate attacks against her, yet people seem to be just focusing on the idiotic.

Not only was O’Donnell a witch, she used to hang out on TV with a troll.

If O’Donnell does win, that will wreck electability arguments for a while. Not a good thing.

Before Twitter, you had to sail months in a big wooden boat to tell people in China what you were up to today.
