  1. A couple of years before Obamacare became law, its stepmother Romneycare became law in Massachusetts.

Here are two quotes from a notification issued this week from MA’s government health-care bureaucracy :

“We will restrict the amount of acetaminophen that can be given to you at the pharmacy to no more than 4 grams per day. When used in large amounts, acetaminophen can be harmful to you. Your provider [doctor or hospital] will need to get approval from us before we will cover acetominphen for more than the recommended amount.”

    and:

“Your provider will also need to get approval from us before we will cover the following prescription medications:
    Prilosec . . .
    Protonix . . .
    Prevacid.”

So, yes, a swell partnership between government and doctors, where federal administrative staff have an absolute veto power over your physician. Especially since it is now illegal, without paying a fine, to seek another doctor outside of the government-approved “health” exchange.
