These united states need reboots. We need to determine why we need to associate with places like newyork, newjersey, and california. After all weren’t jersey and york what were were fighting to be independent of? The only difference between england and the tyranny we have today is better teeth.

Every city in America with over 500,000 population should have to re-enter the United States as a sovereign city-state.
This would give them 1 Representative and 2 Senators each in the Federal Government, but would mean that since they are no longer part of the state they used to dominate, the state governments might actually be able to pass some laws that favor the whole state, and not just the big cities.
New York state no longer dominated by New York city, Illinois no longer dominated by Chicago… it might just work!
