Oh, so she was an ambassador? Because I expressly remember her telling us that she wasn’t. That’s why she wasn’t bringing the press. It was just a(nother) vacation.
I guess “soft diplomacy” means whatever the hell she wants it to mean.
He didn’t just call her ‘fat’. He mocked her and her husbands administration on multiple levels with that one liner. If you know anything about the Chinese language, it is not surprising. I’ll have to ask my GF (Hong Kong born Chinese) what China’s press is saying about her visit.
