Just imagine a Jerry Lewis type being the guy whose job is to place mousetrap #41,879. SNAP! “Ow, I hurt my–” SNAP SNAP SNAP SNAP SNAP SNAP SNAP SNAP SNAP etc.
And we’d be expected to feel sorry for the lovable schmoe.
I did this as a science experiment in high school but I only had 15 mousetraps/ping pong balls. I glued the mousetraps down to some plywood so they wouldn’t jump all over the place when it was set off.
I didn’t have any slow motion hugs with hipsters afterward and Pepsi never gave me any money for it. But I don’t like Pepsi.
Now picture what happens when slow neutrons hit Plutonium atoms.
I would have liked to see that in real time.
