  1. For the record, Snopes HAS fact-checked me before:

But that was 10 years ago. I’d like it to happen again. Because when that happens, it gives the “just news” conservative sites an excuse to link a satire piece.

So if you want to scrape the attribution off this one

Democrats Push for ‘Gun New Deal’ to Try to Bring Dangerously High Firearm Ownership Down to 1791 Levels

and pass it around on Facebook like you’re outraged at the Democrats, I’d take it as a kindness.

Technically, doing so would make you part of a vast right wing conspiracy, so you’ll have to check your conscience on that.

  2. Actually I don’t do Twitter and I only use my Facebook for updating progress on my stupid iPad games. Besides, I live in Westchester county, NY, so I know a lot of liberals. I don’t want to lose friends.

    • I expect lots of us have or had very liberal friends, due to the fact that they outnumber us, thanks to the overwhelming number of sources of indoctrination the left controls.

I had a friend entirely as clever as Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert, but I had to distance myself because he also has their politics, and I can’t stand him when he gets political. I’m not an able debater, and I hurt my cause when I stumble, can’t always have facts and dates at my fingertips (although I can find them later), and generally come across ineffectually.

As you may suspect, I don’t do Twitter or Facebook either.

Reading a lot of the wasteful opinions on those sites would subtract from my enjoyment of life. Not being able to hit back like FrankJ, Harvey, Iowahawk, or James Woods would, too.
