  1. What’s on my mind? Now that I’ve seen this post, I’m wondering when Weird Al parodied an Oingo Boingo song.

    You should see what my auto carrot did with Ping Bingo. Oh, now you do.

    Frontman Danny Elfman (I am guessing there is some really freaky family history involved to get that surname) went on tons very successful second career composing movie soundtracks, starting with that all-time classic, Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.

  2. You are all so wrong to dismiss the brilliance of Oingo Boingo. There is not a hint of Tears for Fears or Duran Duran to be found. Big Band line up with its tongue firmly planted in cheek, who’s music was an ode to B Horror Movie Schlock. There never has been, and never will be, anything like Oingo Boingo.
