The unions have done nothing but screw people over and I know many teachers who join for the legal backing they get to protent themselves from even stupider parents…..get rid of the unions, use the voucher system!

Ok, this might be the wrong place for this, but I had to make sure IMAO was aware that the United States government has finally listened to their advice about nuking the moon. Here’s the story.

Great points. The longer kids stay in public school the worse they do on international standardized tests. In the early grades they are comparable, by high school our students have fallen to the bottom third. The obvious implication is that we should reduce the time kids spend in school not increase it.

Trying to figure out why people are commenting on the attacking of the moon in a thread that has absolutely nothing to do about it… not to mention Frank already posted it.
Love Crowder, and am very happy I was home schooled. In reality the public school system is nothing more then the government controlling the masses and if you take that away from them we all will start to think for ourselves… Hey, people have started that even with the control system in place. Maybe Obama figures that the American people will be easier to control if he forces them to stay in the public school system for longer. Think I’ll home school my kids.

In the early part of the last century, we raised a generation that figured out how to take us to the moon. Those kids spent less time in school than kids do now. It’s not time spent in school that’s the problem.
