  1. From the article:
Rashdan said he has sent several letters to various U.S. officials, including Attorney General John Ashcroft, requesting for his client “the basic rights anyone on the face of this Earth has: the right to a representation and fair trial.”
Yes, Saddam was well known for making sure everyone in Iraq always received a fair trial.
Did they survive the sarin gas? Then they must be innocent!

  2. Sorry, I forgot to mention the pig picture I got from Conservative_D, I was going to say let a diseased pig bite Saddam and use a Michael Moore picture but I just ate and I would actually have to look at the picture first, and my stomach is just not that strong this morning…

  3. When are these liberal bastards going to stop they whinin’ and cryin’?!?!?! As my dad used to say – “I’ll give you something to cry about!”
I think a visit from Chomps would change their attitudes!

  4. I guess they let the LAPD interrogate him too. 🙂
I firmly believe that we should treat him with the same respect for his rights as he has shown his prisoners when he was in charge. If we treat him better than that, there shouldn’t be anything anyone can say. If he survives, he could even get an unfair trial like those who opposed him.

  5. So, let me rephrase.
NEW YORK (One of the Many non-existant liberal medias) — A lawyer for one of the evilest “people” alive, on the wake of the overhyped (however real) Abu Ghraib scandal, is trying to create another overhyped scandal, citing a “piece of paper” that described his condition as “slightly wounded.”
“They’re torturing him”, he said, “just like they were in Abu Ghraib. How do I know this? I read a piece of paper! I mean, it’s on paper, it’s true – remember those Boston Globe fake pictures? They were only fake because the evil British dictator and war criminal Blair said they were fake. What’s millions of proofs compared to writing? Nothing, and that’s why they’re torturing Saddam. Bush = Hitler!”
Is this guy an idiot, or does he believe we are? Not that the two are mutually exclusive.
In completely unrelated news, a guy from the International Red Cross said that Saddam was being treated within the limits of the Geneve Convention.
The IRC has currently at least one member publically challenging the italian left’s accusations that the four hostages were freed – not liberated by coalition forces – and only after a hefty ransom was paid. These allegations were supported by Gino Strada, left wing “benefactor” who, according to IRC, “ran away from Iraq to a lush Jordan hotel at the first firecracker, and thus has no clue what he’s talking about. Oh, and if he’s a doctor, I’m the queen of England: beards are anti-hygenic, especially in high infection risk zones like he’s been known to operate”

  6. According to a Readers Digest Article, after he was out of the hole, Sadman spit on one of his captors. As a result, he was thrown to the ground and then put into restraints.
That and living in a spider infested rathole would likely lead to one being “slightly wounded”.

  7. I am sorry, Mr. Hussein, but since you were out of uniform when we captured you, in accordance ith the Geneva Convention we must now execute you. Blame it on Amnasssssty International.

  8. I just hope this happens:
“Mr. Hussein, here’s your new cellmate, she’s just been convicted and she’s really pissed off, her name is Lyndie England and we’re letting her keep the leash and collar as comfort items.”

  9. YOU COULD FILL A MASS GRAVE WITH ALL THE IRONY IN THIS STATEMENT

Via Frank J. comes this story about Saddam’s asshole French lawyer (sorry for the triple redundancy) whining about his client’s rights: Rashdan said he has sent several letters to various U.S. officials, including Attorney General John Ashcroft, reques…

  10. Tell John Kerry this: God is in Control
of His Universe and What about Jesus
Purple Heart, He never boasted about it
and it isn’t seen by human eyes.
His bruises, his hurts, his pains, his
imprisonment, his scars and his wounds
are felt in Gods’ Childrens Hearts.
Why do we care about foolish things
    like what John Kerry thinks.
We are in a war against evil here and
there. Let’s talk about the lonliness
and the pain and the sorrow in our hearts and reach out to someone in need
Like President Bush says, “Love Your Neighbor”. Why do the Democrats keep throwing stones when all they gather
is blame in the wrong direction.
I am so thankful to Zell Miller, he is
my hero and I pray for him everyday.
He cheered my soul and God smiled. Amen P.S. John Kerry wouldn’t know the
    truth if it bit him……
