UPDATE 2: Just heard on Rush that she’s an evangelical Christian and is a strict interpretationalist with both the Bible and the Constitution. Finally, something for liberals to freak out about.

geez, she’s just a woman… Bush punted she’s 60 and she’s only going to be in the seat for 15 yeas or so maximum. She’s a known quality to him and she’s savvy in politics. I really don’t understand why they are putting up such a fuss. I think everyone was just hoping for a big fight so they could slay their partisan neighbor. what a world we have made…

I agree with the poster over on your link…she looks like Helen Thomas on Slim Fast, and I’m terribly frustrated with our president for not appointing a true conservative JUDGE to the highest COURT in the land. I know that it’s been done before…with Renquist…blah…blah…blah…but after watching Bush spend like a drunken sailor, and bend over and take it up the keester from liberals on a daily basis all we conservatives had left was this one court appointment and he PUNTED!!! What was wrong with Janet Rogers Brown…oh, sorry that would have taken a set of stones by our commander in chief…sad…

I’m not really concerned either. Bush could have done better in picking a nominee to excite the base, but on the other hand, he also could have done a lot worse.
On another hand, John F*ing Kerry could have been doing the picking.
