Upon Further Thought

Seeing all the comments and blog posts, I’ve now decided I don’t like everyone using the word “faggot.” So, I’ve just used my foot to erase the line in the sand, and I’ve drawn a new line in the sand with me on one side and the word “faggot” on the other. Thus, the word “faggot” is now banned from IMAO, and anyone who uses the word, hears someone use the word, or even thinks the word is banned from blogging or commenting here at IMAO. This is non-negotiable. That said, I will allow just one more appearance of the word:
You’re all a bunch of faggots.

  1. Your post got me to thinking.
Only I had to consider some options.
    Usually, I start with “attitude.”
First, I don’t like your attitude.
    Also, you are flip flopper.
    Greater issues should be discussed.
Granted, using banned terms is fun.
Otherwise we have to use euphemisms.
    Things like: pillow-biter, etc.

  2. Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!
    Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!
    Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!
    Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!
    Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!Fag!
Not once did I just use the word faggot…oops
    DAMMIT!

  3. In order for us to honor such a request, first faggots have to stop being…well, faggots. Otherwise, how will we be able to have reasonable discussions about them.
Q: What’s that leafy thing over there?
    A: That’s a tree.
Q: Which one is John Edwards?
A: He’s the faggot fixing his hair.
See how that works? Now, if not allowed to use the word “faggot” it might be a veritable impossibility to discuss certain liberals at all…and that’s just not American.

  4. After reviewing the Kellie Pickler/FrankJ photo FrankJ is definitely not a Faggot. After SarahK saw that photo he might be a eunuch. I think we should use the term eunuch more often, as this truly conveys most peoples feelings about democrats, and at the same time they are not educated enough to know what it means.

  5. I’ve been reading the posts and comments throughout the day and all I can say is, “wow, what a bunch of ‘mos”. Can’t we all just fahget about it, ignore them and maybe they’ll go back into the closet.

  6. Sure Frank. Get us all worked up thinking we get to say faggot again and then just take it away. I was beginning to think you had “grown some” and was acting like a responsible member of the Military-Industrial-Blogging Complex. Now your acting like a pansy-ass-loafer-wearing sissy boi who probably wears Manfume from France. Your ban of the word faggot shows that this blog will probably never make it to IMAOliburton status.

  7. Anne Coulter questions a Democrat’s manhood and it is news? Sounds like business as usual to me. When doesn’t she question their manhood?
At least she didn’t question their patriotism – because they really get riled up on that.
The closer to the truth, the more they forbid the words to say it.

  8. Is it only in the SF Bay Area that reporting on this non-event is being treated like the n-word? They’ve been playing tapes of Ann each night, but they bleep out the actual “faggot.” Headlines say she used an “anti-gay slur.” They’re yipping about Edwards using it as a fundraising tool, and so forth.
But they won’t repeat THE WORD.
