We’re America, the powerful and awesome country there ever was, and people that don’t dress like us all look extremely stupid. Because they are stupid. Because they aren’t emulating us.

Maybe we should make foreign statesmen that visit the U.S. dress up in one of our local costumes.
I’m thinking a plaid flannel shirt over a sleeveless Tee, camouflage cargo shorts, and sandals (socks required for those >50 years of age).

That’s Ridiculous!!! Just because you go to a foreign country doesn’t mean you have to dress like them. For instance; when I went to France, I didn’t dress like a French guy. I didn’t put on a pair of frilly panties, a gay beret and a child-molester moustache. I wore jeans and a t-shirt. And when I went to the Louvre, I didn’t pay attention to cordons, I went where I wanted to. When someone said; “Hey you, don’t go in there — that area’s off limits.” I said I’m American, bitch , I’ll go where I want to. If you have a problem with that, next time we’ll leave you to the tender mercies of Germany, or Wales, Belgium, Rhode Island, whoever.
Just for the record — the only people who should wear berets are Frenchmen (because no one expects any better from them) and militarymen in special forces. They don’t look gay on them, but even if they did, who’s gonna tell ’em.

Our officials should be able to import their own styles as well. Like instead of a headscarf, Condi could get a long single-braid weave and attach a large spiked ball to the end.
