This week terrorists, next week That One. Submit for either at lolterizt@gmail.com
Meanwhile, pass ’em around, spread the love, and if you make your own, don’t be shy about dropping a link to your pics in the comments. The more, the merrier.
NOTE TO READERS: Hovering your mouse over the picture activates closed captioning for the l33t-speak/txtmsg impaired.

NOTE: PLEASE NOMINATE YOUR CHOICE FOR “MOST OBSCURE REFERENCE AWARD” IN THE COMMENTS
I’m kinda torn between:
Arik’s “Al Capone’s Vault”
Larsinkima’s “Pet Rock”
Turtles’s “Morph Ball”
This week’s uncaptioned picture for you to play with:
PRODUCTION NOTES:
#1: When creating lolterizt! pictures, please caption with either black or white text, as colors like red and yellow tend to blur badly when I compress the images.
#2: Standard image size for these posts is 350px wide by whatever high. If you can have your images 350px wide before you caption them, I won’t end up shrinking your captions into illegibility when I re-size the images.
MAKE YOUR OWN: The free lolbuilder from I Can Has Cheezburger.
STYLE NOTE: Short captions are usually better. Your goal is 10 words or less, with humor value tending to increase exponentially as the number of words approaches 1.
HAT TIP: Brian of Snapped Shot‘s magnificent EvilFeed – the world’s best source for ripe-for-captioning terrorist photos.
Send your submissions to lolterizt@gmail.com and – if they aren’t obscene (IMAO is a PG-13 site) and don’t suck too terribly bad – I’ll post them for you. Remember to include your name (and blog URL, if applicable) so I know who to thank.
Looks like the pretadors are rendering the taliban more and more toothless.
Morph ball is the only one I had to look up. When innominatus, “Master of Seemingly Trivial, Yet Actually Useless Information” has to look something up, be assured that the reference is like, scary-obscure, man.
Morph ball wins the Dennis Miller award.
“Dang, Juice trying to steal my stick.”
With that said I have to vote for ““Al Capone’s Vault”
I can just see Heraldo poking his big head in there.
“Let’s see you roll THIS one away.” It’s probably really obvious, but I don’t get it. Call me stupid, which I will acknowledge, but please explain! By the way, morph ball was obscure, but at least you included a link, and if you hadn’t, it is distinct enough to turn up in a search.
No wait, I get it. It’s the Easter thing, right? Duh, I’m not smart. Sorry!
Morph Ball. Definitely Morph Ball.
Ali Capone? Another great bunch by all.
I can’t believe “Morph Ball” is considered so obscure. Imagine if I had gone with “Maru Mari.”
Ah well, different frames of reference, I guess.
I got all the references without looking any of them up, but the morph ball made me laugh the most cause it’s so obscure. I mean, I’m a (nerd) child of the early 80’s who’s played video games forever, and I’ve only played one Metroid game. Morph ball FTW!
Iranian Bomber made me laaaaugh and laugh.
I had never heard of the Morph Ball thing, and was going to leave the entry out, but after I Googled it, I realized the reference was spot on.
Even more so if you check some YouTube videos on Metroid and see the Morph Ball in action.
I vote for “Morph Ball” also. Like Innominatus, I knew about the other two already. Not all nerds are gamers! Some of us are just plain vanilla nerds!
I’ve played a lot of games, but never Metroid. I never owned a Nintendo system. I went from playing stand-up arcade games straight to PC gaming.
Jstin Beber givn a consert here? Jstin akbar!
Morph ball is the most obscure, Al Capone’s vault is the funniest.
OOOO! I HATES that f#$@ing rabbit!
So exactly do protesters with signs = terrorists?
*how exactly, my apologies
