Is America Ready to Elect Someone with a Puffy Face?

So there is talk of some sort of puffy-faced person maybe running for Senate in Kentucky, but apparently her own party is wary of how puffy her face is and how that will play with the voters. They understand that culturally, we’re not at a place where we’re ready to elect people with puffy faces to high office. Maybe one day that will happen — probably with future generations — but for now people just don’t trust puffy faces. Mitch McConnell knows this and is already working it into ads.

“McConnell 2014: He has a normal face.”

So now the Democrats are desperately trying to find a normal-faced candidate they can coalesce around. And then what happens to puffy face? I don’t know. It’s just not a puffy face world.

  1. i’d be really careful about underestimating ashley judd. she has some photos out now where she is a little puffy. there are also alot of them out there with her in rwanda and similar places. she won’t have a freeze up in front of crowds and if her writers and preppers are good, she will have massive scripts prepared for debates. and she will have lots of money and name recognition. she, despite the puffy face right now, is an attractive women at a time that that is a plus and she will be running against an old man. a man who has been a “leader” while things go downhill. mcconnell could go the way of dick luger. the populations of indiana and kentucky ore not that different.
