Obama Warned Us – Obamacare

You can’t let your failures define you — you have to let your failures teach you. You have to let them show you what to do differently the next time.

BARACK OBAMA, National Address to America’s Schoolchildren, Sep. 8, 2009

“Or you can just stonewall and cover them up.”

  1. once Obamacare is thrown out because the Law was signed by an Illegal Alien posing as a US President or after it is defeated in the Supreme Court because it is Unconstitutional I suggest we allow Libertarian/Tea People to OPT OUT of the Income Tax and Social Security systems.

But once they OPT out they receive NO government assistance of any kind ever again. No Police, no Fireman, no Emergency Medical, no social security, no medicare, ect. No taxes, no records, no ID, it’d be like they don’t even exist unless they arrive by ambulance with a wheelbarrow full of Gold!

It might be easier to give them an entire state (or a planet) where they can be free to do what they want to do. Let’s call Randistania.

There actually have been successful Libertarian societies in the past. Sodom was about as Libertarian as you can get and then there was that Libertarian paradise Gomorrah. So you see it could work and it might be in everyone’s best interest to support the foundation of a Libertarian homeland.

  2. I’m impressed by Carpenter’s archaeological breakthroughs. Discovering not only the locations of Sodom and Gomorrah, but also managing to deduce their system of governance! I’m sure he’ll be getting a special on the Discovery channel, and I can’t wait to read his paper in the American Journal of Archaeology. And here I thought he was just a random nutter with a poor understanding of objectivism, libertarianism, and logic.

  3. hey, carpie, you’re back, you blasphemous reprobate. this really isn’t down to your usual standards. a bit of anti-libertarianism, throw in a bit of sodom and gomorrah and that’s all?

no anti LaVey? no big holier than thou christianity schtick? you need to do better than this or you just ain’t worth my time.

  4. Give Carpeleh a break…he probably got pulled over by a townsperson someplace needing a freshly lathe-turned finial or some bannister repair done and pulling over a Winnebago at speed ‘t’isn’t easy. All that craftmanship takes time away from a full-tilt, foam-at-the-mouth, Apocalyptic cyber rant.

  5. @jw,

I disagree, I thought this was some of Carpenter’s finest work yet. A perfect mix of irrational, insane and ignorant, smothered in bizarre hatred. It put quite the smile on my face.

  6. @11 AR

i must respectfully disagree. the mix of irrationality, insanity and ignorance certainly was impressive. But for me, it lacked the robust, full throated outrage of the anti-LaVey or “I’m a Christian and you are not!” diatribes we have come to know and…dislike(?). perhaps the subtlety was too great.

this, however, is why there is both sugar cured and smoked bacon. to each his favorite.

    except carpie who gets tofu
