Just go to Volokh Conspiracy and start reading. This seems like it should be a big deal, but, since the majority of states are now right to carry, it just seemed like constitutional rulings in favor of individual gun rights were coming. It’s as if D.C. and Chicago are stuck in the past with old primitive laws, such as having segregation still on the books. Guess we’ll have to send down the national guard to protect people going into a gun store.
No, I guess they wouldn’t need that since they’ll be at a gun store.

Is it just me or do the majority of anti gun fanatics conveniently forget that in 1770 whatever the people who belonged to the militia were average citizens. Everybody owned a firearm, even the pacifists (hard to put game on the table without a gun). If it hadn’t been for these “Citizen Soldiers” we’d still be part of the U.K. That’s why the provision is in there, to assure that in the future the government wouldn’t be able to disarm the populace to further it own agenda.
Then again no one should pay attention to the fact that the first thing a dictator does when he seizes power is disarm the citizenry. Why learn from history, when you can repeat it over and over again. It’s what Democrats do best.
To paraphrase Shakespeare: “First, shoot all the lawyers.”
That’s what’ll happen when the populace realizes the lawyers have “dictum”…
I see civilization is returning even in the most God-forgotten corners of the US. Finally!
46,000 conceal and carry permits issued here in The People’s Republic of Minnesota and the streets aren’t running red with blood as predicted by liberals…as usual another liberal myth BUSTED!
We Minnesotans are fortunate. Imagine living in a state like Wisconsin …
Gotta love Good Ole’ AZ. Will Issue CCW laws, and any owner not barred due to being a felon can carry openly. That’s right folk, you can walk the streets with your .45 on one hip and your 2 spare magazines on the other and have a nice dining experience… as long as alcohol isn’t served on the premises.
So, yeah, we have Napolitano and McCain, but our Gun laws kick ass. Plus, if any place has it posted that you can’t carry weapons inside, they MUST provide lockers for storage while you are there doing business.
