LA Times Hit Piece on Fred Thompson Magically Dissolving

The LAT was trying to chip away at Fred Thompson’s pro-life bona fides (because it’s their understanding that will make the Bible-thumpers in the fly-over country angry), but questionable statements in the original story have been quietly disappearing. If this keeps up at this rate, sometime tomorrow the story will simply read, “Fred Thompson talked to some guy in 1991, the LA Times confirms.”

  1. A man capable of lobbying to make it easier for people to kill thier unborn at the taxpayers expense, is capable of a lot of thing including lying about it to cover his ass when he is begging for the support of the pro-life movement!
NO SALE ON FRED THE ABORTION LOBYYIST!

  2. Is this really the best the smear group can do? Re-iterate the same stuff about Fred Thompson’s lobbying history? If this is all they can come up with, Fred has already won.
Besides, it is greater to be pro-life now than pro-life before and pro-abortion now.

  3. The real question here is not Mr. Thompsons stand on abortion, whose opinions like many of us may have evolved over years of thought and introspection.
The question is how many main stream Conservatitive Republicans and Pro-Life folks would:
    1. Read the LA Times
    2. Believe anything written by anyone on staff at the LA Times ( LA does that mean Latin American Times?)
The MSM still doesn’t get it. We don’t believe them, we don’t listen to them, we don’t respect them, and we think their “Mothers were hamsters and their fathers smelled of elderberries.”
