When I finally voted last night, I found that IMAO was in hot competition for second place for Best Humor Blog while some blog I’ve never seen called Jesus General had like seven time the votes of anyone else. Anyone know anything about that blog?
As for Best Podcast, despite our hiatus until Janurary (just like 24!), we had a good lead as of last night since no one was voting in that category.
Anyway, keep voting (you can vote once a day in each category). And someone update me how things are going since I don’t have flash at work and can’t see the votes.

JG is a ‘satire’ blog poking fun at the Christian right akin to BlameBush poking fun at the Godless left but JG is not NEARLY as funny as BlameBush.
Yeah, it’s a lefty thing; never cared for it much myself because the caricature is too clumsy. Probably getting all the votes because there are too many good conservative humor blogs to split up the electorate from the Right.
Oh, wait, scratch that–IMAO is the only right-wing funny!

yeah, I had never heard of JG either – kinda browsed through it and really didn’t find anything even remotely amusing.
I did notice that they apparently think Fred Phelps and the Klan are not only Christian, but are representative of all Christians.
The klan thing probably had to do with Ford pulling ads from several pro-queer publications.
Besides having different “political genes” lefties and righties must also have different “funny genes”. maybe they’re linked. I find JG hilarious and the rightie sites not particularly funny.
Jesus’ General was in the voting last year and was leading for a while. Lots of their votes were tossed, if memory serves.
And, yes, my little blog did make the cut for Best New Blog. Of course, we’re up against WuzzaDem, Atlas Shrugs, Soldiers’ Angel and the link.
