Ever notice how the left keeps accusing the Tea Party of this violence that never occurs, and yet Obama supporters seem to be full of dangerous psychos? Getting really enthused about the empty suit Obama is not something a mentally balanced person does. I mean, “Obama will save us!” is just a few steps away from “Murder the infidels!” because they’re both based on blind, poorly-placed faith.
So are all jihadists big Obama supporters? Probably. I just hope the FBI is keeping tabs on any Obama rallies. Cheering on Obama when we have 9% unemployment and spiraling debt is pretty much the same as cheering on the destruction of America.
At this point, the best I can say about Obama is that, unlike the incompetent liberal economist President of the ’30s, he doesn’t have a Lucy Page Mercer Rutherford in his life.

I was confused, but I see from the linked article that he did realize you can’t be a devout Muslim and vote, let alone vote for a man who publicly professes adherence to a non-Islamic religion.

In fact, it appears that, having first joined the Obama campaign, the intelligent young Chesser realized that the spiritual guidance lacking in his life was not to be found in the campaign of a democratic politician. (He had previously figured out Buddhism wasn’t the answer either.) He then had the fortitude to turn to an actual system of spiritual faith. It’s too bad it was Islam, but when the cat is away the mice will play.
Indeed it is not true that the jihadist was an Obama supporter. In fact an Obama supporter became a jihadist. We are likely to see a lot more of this. Many younger people (and older people who are immature) supported Obama because their idealization of The One fulfilled the hole in their psyches left by a lack of true religious faith. As more and more of these deluded, useful idiots realize that voting is not a good substitution for a moral life, they will turn to any number of alternatives, including Islam. So too did the deluded useful idiots of the 60s turn to cults such as Charles Manson and Scientology.
Since you can’t be white and join a Nation of Islam prison gang, I predict that Chesser will either convert to Christianity or become a skinhead.
