A small town in Colorado is considering issuing hunting licenses allowing residents to shoot down unmanned drones.
Sounds like fun, but the downside is you need a chainsaw to field dress it.

Them’s good eatin’!
Why should anybody need a license to shoot down an unmanned drone?
If we don’t thin the herd, drones will overpopulate and starve during the winter. I don’t care what PeTD says, it’s the humane thing to do.
Somebody’s going to make a fortune on drone-calls.
The should issue ‘tags’ – in equal numbers for male and female drones.
What about manned drones? Or Womynned ones?
#4 Drone Dynasty?
chainsaws i got 🙂
Well, shoot. Back in my day we field dressed drones with just a hacksaw and some elbow grease. You young’n’s with your chainsaws and microwaves…
Please clarify what constitutes an “unmanned drone”. Too often have I considered that label appropriate for too many people.
Thats really going to put a damper on y swinn holel spyin.
i hear drone meat is kinda tough
Think they need a taxidermy shop that can handle those things?
Harvey –
My question wasn’t why we should shoot down drones. It was why somebody with a gun should need a permit to do it. I’m all in favor of shooting down drones (I’m also in favor of shooting hippies, Californians – whether they’re hippies or not, my neighbor’s dog, and several of my former bosses). I’m opposed to government regulation, and to having to pay in order to shoot down drones.
