Unfortunately for us taxpayers who must foot the bill for the costs of this largess…for many in this country that standard has become quite acceptable…and why not, they’re not paying for it.
I remember Marilyn Vos Savant, a columnist for Parade magazine about 30 years ago wrote that if someone takes the money you have worked for and gives it to someone else that hasn’t, then you are a slave. But don’t worry, it’s Democratic slavery.
…until they get hungry.
