In Venezuela today, if your newborn requires any kind of intensive care, he will probably die. Toilet paper is a luxury, and dogs, cats, and rats are being hunted for food. And yet Bernie is a serious contender for the presidency.
All true…but then look at how successful Cuba is.

Yeah, but Bern’s for democratic socialism, man. That means free food — your choice of cats or dogs. Oh, and the animal processing plants are nationalized, for your protection.
Luckily, 98% of Bernie/Hillary/Obama voters couldn’t even find Venezuela on a map much less know that it’s a communist hellhole so knowing this won’t phase them.
Ahh, but you miss the most important of facts! Venezuela is not failing because of its inherent socialist policies. No. It is failing because of the undermining of the perfect order being done by the United States and capitalist running pig dogs of the industrial bourgeoisie! So, when a TRUE socialist like Bernie Sanders is elected President the underlying reason for failure is removed from Venezuela so it can truly prosper and the United States will lead the world into the glorious age of a true People’s Democracy and Socialist bounty!
