New Jersey passed a new law requiring every gun retailer in the Garden State to sell at least one smart gun.
Ironically, to a dumb gun buyer.

I’m not an expert on liberal logic, but is the point of this law to
1) legislate a non-existant thing iand nobidy is interested in buying nto existence by mandating its use
or….
2) legislate a certain set of businesses out of existence by mandating that they sell a product that doesn’t exist and there is ni demand for?
The product does exist, it’s the Armatix iP1. A 10 round .22 pistol selling for $1800. It has at best an 80% reliability, in tests it has never fired a full magazine.
I would think there would be little if any demand for such a dog.
no…..that still sounds like a setup for a joke. sorry.
Two birds, one law
Judge Roberts will simply rewrite the law to create a tax on everyone who doesn’t buy a smart gun — claiming that this was what New Jersey meant to say, and government can totally tax people for anything.
Too bad they can’t pass a law requiring at least one smart person in the legislature.
Do the stores just have to sell an actual smart gun, or do they also have to sell a cake with a picture of one on top?
Soooo, you sell one then you’re good, right?
This mandate is just the first step in the process to TOTALLY ban firearms. First mandate “smart guns” be carried and offered for sale. THEN mandate that ONLY “smart guns” can be sold. The technology will NEVER be 100% reliable…..but the politicians don’t care if the gun fails and a citizen dies. If “smart guns” were so smart then LEO and .Mil would be using them. The fact that neither will even consider them is proof
they are worthless as a defensive means. But the goal is NOT safety. The goal is CONTROL. And eventually “smart guns” will have the technology that will allow those in power to decide if they will function.
The goal is a “smart gun” that THEY can turn off when THEY want it turned off.
As I understand it, you have to have one for sale. Really you might not even need to stock one, but advertise it’s availability. The problem with democrat socialists is they believe in a command economy, where they insist that you sell something means that people will buy it. If you’re a capitalist your head hurts right now.
