Just about through my busy patch, so I’ll soon be back to the quality blogging you’ve all come to expect from me (including an all new In My World tomorrow). Anyway, here are some links to things I’ve been meaning to blog about but haven’t had the time:
Blackfive (and other milbloggers) meet President Bush.
Here’s an interesting take on the psychological difference between liberals and conservatives based on what they find to be important morally. It could all be BS, but I like it because it confirms my prejudices.
Should Democrats give up trying to win votes from white males? Since most of the Democrat leaders and activists (as witnessed at the YearlyKos) are still white males but the same group is such a small percentage of their voters, no wonder they end up being such out of touch elitists. The party is nothing but whitey and cracker telling the black man what they think he needs.

Okay, I think that survey is trying to say I don’t have any morals… whatever. Its so completely wrong. I guess it wasn’t written with Libertarians in mind. I got a 1.1 on Authority, which sounds right, but a 2.0 on Fairness? I should have a 0 on that for sure, and I only got a 1.6 on harm? What? I would have said thats the only thing I consider relevant….
Heh, I just took another survey on that site and liked that result much more. First of all, I got a full 7.0 for my support of Fred! second of all, most of the time when Liberals and Conservative agree with each other, I disagree, and then most of the time I’m between them, tending towards conservatives. This survey is wayyyyy better.
interesting. on the morality test I scored:
Harm: 2.6
Fairness: 1.9
Loyalty: 3.8
Authority: 3.6
Purity 4.6
That salon article is pretty offensive. Referring the white male vote as the “bubba vote”? Does that mean we can refer to the hispanic vote as the “pedro vote”? What about the “Miyagi vote”?
On the plus side, we white guys are no longer kingmakers. THANK GOD! Phew…does that mean we no longer are going to be held responsible for all the ills of the world? Maybe now I can apply to all internships, and not have to worry about the ones open only to “people of color”? (seo-usa.org) Maybe we won’t have to worry about penalized for not being black/hispanic/asian/female/gay/etc etc?
This “majority” business ain’t all its cracked up to be.
Via Neil Boortz (the good Libertarian), I find out that Homer is no longer designing cars, he’s designing candy bars.
