Well finally the U.N. would be in one accord and serve a useful purpose in life.
At the end of the day Fred Thompson likes to relax in his Barcalounger with Spot, his pet alligator, curled up in his lap. Fred Thompson especially enjoys it when Spot licks his face.
Fred can keep the paperweight handy for entertaining foreign heads of state. While they visit, he can nonchalantly pick up the paperweight and toss it from hand to hand, gauging the reaction of the visitor. For emphasis, he can slam it down on the desk or throw it at the offending worm.
One of the gee-whiz factoids about the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) at Cape Kennedy was that the two telescoping main doors were big enough that the U.N. Building could pass through them. So if putting the U.N. Building in orbit was NASA’s true secret agenda, I suddenly see some value in NASA’s activities.
