Ron Paul Supporters Are Made from Spam! SPAAAAM!

Just when you’d think Ron Paul supporters couldn’t be any more annoying, it ends up they’re using illegal spam to pester people about their screwball candidate. So that makes the Ron Paul base now twoofers, neo-Nazis, and spammers — every societal reject hated by the average American.
So now we know where Ron Paul got all those campaign contributions from: He just sent out e-mails pretending to be a Nigerian prince until he could scam the money out of some people. If you get any e-mails from Ron Paul or his supporters make sure you don’t give them any personal information!

  1. Uh oh, Frank. You typed the name of “he whose minions constantly troll Technorati.” Now they’ll come after you for sure. You might as well put together a rudimentary poll of some sort, just to appease the angry mob.
    Suggested poll questions:
Once the American sheeple WAKE UP(!!!) and elect his holiness, Ron Paul, to the Presidency, what should be his first act of office…
I then suggest the following options:
    * Break up the Federal Reserve (add a remark about greedy capitalist swine)
    * Re-launch a new 9-11 Commission Investigation (add remark about Neocons/Masons/Jews)
    * Pardon those redneck tax evaders that just got arrested (add a remark about the need for more militias/guns)
    * Find out how Jack Link Beef Jerky eaters have so casually stumbled upon Sasquatch on more than one occasion (add a remark about how if we can uncover who these alleged “beef jerky eaters” really are, we may finally uncover the truth behind the ‘sentients’ and ‘reptillians’ that walk among us)
    * Other

  2. Daddy, when will the funny crazy people get here?
    Why’s it taking so long?
Did somebody turn off the crazy people’s evil computer machines and serve them with a C & D order?
Is that why it’s taking so long, daddy?

  3. The Ron Paul candidacy seems to have unearthed a lot of anger and hostility against his neo-Nazi crazy followers. I’m rather curious as to which candidate the enraged folk on this blog are in favor of. Anyone in particular? Hillbilly? Rudy G.? Or anyone but Paul?

  4. I know a woman and her daughter that are very open about being pro-Ron Paul. They are stereotypically obnoxious about it. So he has at least 2 supporters.
But they are vegans so they will die of malnourishment soon anyways.

  5. Maybe Ron Paul has lost all support so there’s no one left to defend him. Yep, that must be it.
Yeah, I don’t get why people think he has such high support. Any reasonable person can see that fighting the war on terrorism is necessary to our safety and that we should win in Iraq.
And that Israel is in the right,
and that we shouldn’t eliminate the Federal Reserve…
and that 9/11 was definitely and obviously NOT an inside job.

  6. Paulbot 762109387HW349 reporting for duty here.
I think the reason we leave IMAO alone is because you’re not interested in discussion so we don’t bother. We’re content to let the most shrill corners of the shrinking neocon universe die on their own. It requires little effort from us and we enjoy hearing the screams.
If I did want to engage, I’d say something like: there’s zero evidence a Ron Paul supporter sent spam out, and a lot of circumstantial evidence that this was done by an anti-Paulite to get youtube videos yanked (e.g., it worked).
Besides, what’s the big deal about sending campaign spam? I get Hillary and Edwards spam all the time. So even if “we” did it, and I doubt that, where’s the crime?
The oddest part of this “story” is that Wired and a few others are trying to spin some e-mail spam as proof that Ron Paul’s technorati rankings, online poll #s (including, somehow they don’t explain, Fox News’s text-message polls), and other metrics of Paul’s support are spam mirages.
Isn’t that laughable — you can’t spam meetup groups, and Ron Paul has more than all the other candidates, Republican and Democrat, combined. You can’t spam $12 million, which is what Paul has raised this year. The whole thing doesn’t make much sense.
But you all knew that — and circle jerk anyway, which is why none of us Paulians/Ronulans decided to join in.
So have fun, remember the last guy to come has to eat the bread (nassy!), and don’t forget to donate on November 5th! THAT’S the day to watch — prepare for Paulmania in the press next monday!

  7. How to Whip This Ron Paul Character and All His Whacky Followers.
Ron Paul can be defeated by ignorance. Ignore him if you can.
By lies. Misrepresent his positions whenever possible.
By word gaming. As Lenin advised, “First, confuse the vocabulary.”
By contempt. Dismiss him as amusing and pathetic.
By smearing his supporters. Find the worst and spotlight them. Call them a cult.
By consensus. Dismiss him with peer-pressure ridicule.
By false accusations. Spread them quickly and far.
By never discussing his policies. Change the subject to his person.
By the polls. Ask the right people the right questions and get the answer you want.
By reporting his most unpopular votes. But don’t report his reasoning.
By rudeness. Wreck any debate where his ideas are winning.
With all these tools, he can be easily defeated. Use them generously.
But Ron Paul cannot be defeated by refuting him in an honest and courteous technical debate. Avoid that.

[Actually, I think the gaggle of nuts that are his supporters are his biggest weakness. That and he’s scared of butterflies. -Ed.]

  8. Apparently, the “disinter” is “John Howard” and his highly original post in #23 is also at several other sites, word-for-word.
OK, I’m – old now – but this teenage reader of Ayn Rand is standing by for some serious hubris and lecturing.

Yes he can, in fact he could be defeated by touching your foot to your nose, or eating… or existing. I’m pretty sure Stephen Colbert is higher in the polls than Ron Paul.

  10. disinter (v): To dig up or remove from a grave or tomb; exhume.
An appropriate name for a mindless zombie, I’d say.
And nothing says serious debate like claiming things posted at fake campaign websites set up by Paul-bots are true….Hmm, this post at RonPaulIsTheLastBestHopeForRealChickenInOurChickenPotPies.com says that Ron Paul sexually abuses gophers. It’s on the intarwebs, so it must be true!

  11. I believe the other day Master Shake called for some form of daily Ron Paul fun facts, Paulopisms, or some such recognition of the brilliance that is Ron Paul. I fully support that idea and offer these “facts” as a starting point:
    Ron Paul:
Believes that English should be the official language when dealing with ETs.
Thinks Don Quixote was a pragmatist.
Will combat Islamofascists by unleashing his white supremicist supporters on them.(Within U.S. borders of course.)
Is tired of being mistaken for the late pope.
Being a doctor, will gladly deliver babies of illegals…. to the INS.
Would’ve prevented the 9-11 attacks by abolishing the month of September.
Is against illegal immigration except from other planets.
Is so anti-Fed that he supports Britney in the ongoing custody battle.

  12. Ron Paul Campaign Under Cyber Attack
There has been a recent flurry of news articles that have made the conjecture that the Ron Paul campaign or his supporters are in possession of a botnet and are using it to generate spam emails for the candidate. I have been in the business of computer technology for a long time and have good friends in the IT security business and we have discussed this at length. Cui-bono (who benefits)
I find it far more likely that this botnet spam attack is not the design of the Paul campaign or any of its supporters. It is far more likely that this is the release of a first round of direct cyber attack against the Ron Paul campaign. I base this opinion on the fact that the attack is becoming clearly targeted at the youtube videos of Ron Paul. Youtube links to his videos are beginning to be inserted into the the body of these spam message and as a direct result the video’s are being pulled by youtube for violation of their terms of use policy.
This attack method can do far more harm than good for the Ron Paul campaign so I will make a guess that this is the work of those in the NSA using cyber war tactics out of loyalty or possibly under orders to use this stealth attack method to derail the Ron Paul campaign by using the campaign’s online strength against them.
I expect that after these attackers have used this method to remove the best google and youtube videos touting the Ron Paul campaign, that the attack method will change and will then go after other key components of the campaign’s online strength such as the Web 2.0 communities. These utilities will likely be spammed and the organizations using the applications will be banned from their use.
This is nefarious and demonstrates the kind of tactics that the establishment could use to serve their interest in stopping the advance of Ron Paul and the Revolution for freedom that he is leading as well as his Presidential bid. I can only hope that the Ron Paul online army has some equally talented cyber warriors that can help stop this attack before it is ramped up even further.

BTW, e-mail Ron Paul for big penis and cheap \/iagra!

  13. Hmm,
    Nobody wants to discuss policy?
Come on, Paul supporters, you’ve laid down the gauntlet – I picked it up; so where’d you guys go?
I promise to lay off any personal attacks (at least to the same extent you’re willing to for me) – you wanna debate – let’s go!

  14. Yay! The crazies came! Well, at least they aren’t convinced that Rudy really paid off a reporter. But apparently, it was an anti-Ron Paul supporter that sent Ron Paul spam to people to make him score… lower? in the polls? Am I getting this right? Anyone?
Ah well. Still amusing. Next time lets tie a Ron Paul doll to a cinder block and toss it in the ocean. How many will dive in to save it?
