Time to Get Our I Told You Sos Together

Well, we knew that one day Obama’s being an awful president would catch up with him, and from the look of the polls, the huge Obamacare flop has finally done it. So I think it’s time we start to get all our “I told you so”s together to throw in everyone’s faces.

I TOLD YOU SO…

…that there was nothing in Obama’s background to suggest he would be even a marginally competent leader.

…that, if anything, Obama’s background of writing a bunch of memoirs while having no accomplishments suggested he was overly arrogant while lacking any useful skills.

…that his statements like the “bitter clingers” speech showed he was very dismissive of the average man and didn’t sympathize with this country’s problems at all.

…that having arrogant idiots with no business experience pass a law none of them read changing a large section of our economy would be a huge disaster.

…that the incompetent big government — know for its incompetence — would handle health care incompetently.

…that nothing Obama has done will help the economy, but actually hurt the average American and job creators.

…that electing someone so useless and incompetent like Obama is a silly indulgence that will do more to hurt race relations than help.

…that the reason the left kept calling the Tea Party racist, extremist, and violent is because the left had no substantive response to the Tea Party’s arguments.

…that you shouldn’t trust the government and the moron politicians and bureaucrats in it with anything important.

…that when I am proven right on all this, I will be insufferable.

  1. … that there is nothing in the Constitution giving the government the power to fine you for economic inactivity — i.e., merely for being alive. (Sorry, Roberts: saying that you’re just taxing inactivity doesn’t make it any better.)

… that a pledge to “fundamentally transform” a country should provoke many more questions than votes.

  2. Oh, I plan to be completely insufferable, for eternity, on this subject. It’s the pinnacle of lefty hubris, the farthest it can reach without overt fascism and admitted totalitarianism. It doesn’t work, it couldn’t work, it’s an example of why every freakin’ leftist policy and politician ever simply can not work, and I will ride every dumbassed, self-impressed lemming about this until their wheels fall off.

  3. I just hope we don’t all have to do our gloating from a gulag in American Siberia (Alaska) while American Pravda (pretty much any news outlet) ignores us, instead reporting on how American Joseph Stalin (Obama) has managed to improve on the already perfect state of our American Sovien Union.

In Soviet Russia “I told you so” tells YOU!

  4. Dr. Sheldon Cooper: “Under normal circumstances I’d say, I told you so. But as I have told you so with such vehemence and frequency already, the phrase has lost all meaning. Therefore, I will be replacing it with the phrase I informed you thusly.”

I’m with Shelly on this one. “I told you so” just isn’t enough.

Oh, I informed you thusly. I so informed you thusly!

  5. @1: There’s nothing in the constitution for MOST of what the Federal Government does.

We should go cold turkey off our $2 Trillion of entitlements. That would wake people up. For 100 years, we’ve rationalized stealing in the name of democracy.

Blow the “safety net” clean the **** up. That includes all our Social Security.

  6. @6 Jimmy: Yup, I absolutely agree with you — we can’t afford not to. Even on the hot-button Social Security — “But I paid into it all my life, ygdf thieves! I want my money back.” — though the brutal truth is that the government spent your money, and it is long gone. Might as well end the cycle of generational theft.

  7. Feeding the Hungry

So Susan Rice tells me on tonight’s news that the US govt. has spent $1.4Billion on humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees. Yet we cannot seem to fund our own food stamps/SNAP program to feed hungry Americans?! Why are my govt’s priorities so different than mine? I donate to the local food bank, but only if i have money left over after buying groceries for my family.

    Anybody else?

  8. My told you so’s would include affirmative action, the race card, racist for pointing out obama’s mistakes and the the relative rating of the last worst president ever ( Jimmy Carter) and obama. And most of the garbage the a$$h*l* in the White House has screwed up in the last 5 years.

And slightly off rant Can any one explain to me why I can’t buy cci minimags for the past 6 months?

Now the problem is if I actually expanded the above subjects to what I actually felt, I would be blacklisted from this sight. So I feel leave it to you to guess what I would say, with the guarantee that whatever you come up with is milder.
