I’m sorry to hear that things are bad in “Charm City”. Here in our part of the country the geniuses who run the school system are going to the Philippines to get teachers, many of whom have to take a remedial English course before they can teach.
Our colleges and universities are turning out teachers by the hundreds, but the powers that be won’t hire them. They’re not experienced enough. Young people with BA’s, and BS’s can’t teach because they don’t have a degree from a state university even though the school they graduated from is accredited across the country. The even have a program at one of the universities to help those with other degrees than education get certified, but will anyone use it?
It’s a joke. But nothing’s too good for our kids!
Baltimore is hiring from the same place which is why the teachers can’t read. I meant no disrespect to our born and bred in the USA teachers….well I guess there are a few.
Anyway, I don’t know why they call it Charm City unless they make Lucky Charms there. It smells like a bunch of leprechauns.
Oo-rah!!!
Glad I could help out… 😉
4 out of 5 Baltimore teachers can’t recommend it because they can’t read it.
