Fred Thompson won this debate, and that is an objective fact. Anyone political analyst who says otherwise should wrap his mouth around a loaded shotgun and pull the trigger (that’s also an objective fact). I assert these are facts since I thought he won and so did other people. What’s the chance that both me and other people would be wrong about something like this? Slim to none.
You should buy a Fred Thompson t-shirt (also an objective fact) and wear it every day so people can see how awesome Fred Thompson is. And, if someone sees your t-shirt and asks, “Who is Fred Thompson?” you should say loudly and clearly, “You’re stupid!” and punch the person in the face so as to teach him to not be so stupid as to not know who Fred Thompson is and how awesome he is. Picking a president is a serious task, and as with all serious tasks, that requires punching stupid people right in their faces.

I love Fred and thought he did his best today, even with limited time after curbstomping nurse ratchet.. One thing we all need to do is get through to Fred about turning up the volume a bit.. It’s his if he wants it, he’s just gotta turn it up a bit..
There is just as much potential in Fred that there was in RWR…

I’m more of a Libertarian than anything, but I took an online test (3 times) to see who would be the best candidate for me, and it wound up being Fred Thompson (all 3 times). It kinda surprised me, but then again he seems to be a good candidate.

I think thats true for a lot of us. I’m a full fledged neo-Libertarian, in fact I’ve been called a militant Anarchist. Fred Thompson is the best candidate for EVERYONE because he is…. the best candidate.

Did anybody else notice that the moment before Mr. Thompson’s curb-stomping, almost all of the other candidates’ hands were up, little-schoolboy style? And then after the gasp of “what did he just do?” they all said “uh yeah, me neither!” and began applauding him. Mr. Thompson is seriously the only person on either side of the fence that can be called a man.
I’ve seen the hand raising clip and it does look like several had started raising their hands and they DID look like school boys. Looked like Romney and McCain, but not sure who the others were. I’ll be watching the replay to see who they were.

Pshh man that test sucked. It says my best fit is Tancredo. Though Fred! was a close 2nd place.
Heh, I took that test and Huckabee was my best match, though Fred! was only about 3.5% points behind.
that crackulator is odd — it told me to vote for tancredo and had Thompson with cox and brownback and almost down with ronpaul (ow, my face!) Mitt & Huck were doing much better than Rudy, who even got beat by this New Mexico democrat. Kucinich trailed the pack, slightly behind she who must not be named lest her campaign ads deluge us, guess he does have the tin foil.
When Republicans actually LISTEN to Fred, they vote for him. That’s the trick: listen and think. It’s hard for some, but they’ll come around.

I’m surprised I agreed nearly 19% with Hillary, though. That right there is frighteningly high.
I tried the Candidate Calculator and came up with Mitt. Look at their results, Fred gets less than 3%, just edging out Dennis Kucinich.
I just watched the debate ( http://www.desmoinesregister.com ) and I have to say: Ron Paul gets crazier every time you hear him. I didn’t think it was possible, but the loony has gone nuttier!
So the Des Moines Register hosts a debate and they go out and find Ms Ball Breaker! Fred Thompson won and should have walked over and punched her in her face…and he could have kicked her in her nads but he might have broken his foot…
I’m still waiting for Thompson to turn it up. I’ve been wanting him to break away from the pack for a while now, but it’s like something has been holding him back. This debate appeared to be a glimpse at the candidate I’ve been waiting for. Here’s hoping he amps up the juice from here on into the election.

Mitt 81% – meh
John Cox 75% – who?
Tancredo 75% – meh
Fred! 75%
On another Presidential Selector mine were, in order:

John McCain 73% – um no, nice enough but something about him I don’t trust
Alan Keyes 65% – liked him years ago, but is he even in it?

Proving the point that these polls are pretty much crap. I would rather vote for Fred than any of the others listed, seeing as how conservative actors seem to make a good Pres (RIP RWR), but it’s nice to know I have options that could at least come fairly close.

I was told huckabee, fred was number 4 for me, but I would vote almost entirely on the way he deals with stupid questions right now, if he and I disagree slightly on a fence or something, at least I know I can trust him to be honest and not attempt to not offend
Mine were: Huckabee #1, Romney #2, Fred #3, all a couple of points apart.

I ran that candidate calculator several different times with the same answers, just changed the importance levels for a couple of results. I got widely varying results – as much as a 17 percent swing. I’ll stick with my current choice because of the overall issue of Frederalism.
I got Fred! as my #1 on the test–87.5%. (Kinda bummed I didn’t get 100.)

The guy going to finish a distant third or fourth in Iowa, and is polling at 1% in New Hampshire. He can’t even get on the ballot in Delaware. His campaign is broke and his organization is in shambles.
The only question now is whether his wife leaves him shortly after it’s all over, or does she wait him out the couple of years he has left and take everything. Don’t be surprised when she takes his money and hitches her wagon to some new up-and-comer, a la Teh-RAY-zah. Hopefully she’ll keep it in the GOP.
So honestly people, stop deluding yourselves. You sound as bad as the hicks who think I Fart Huckabees has a chance…

#1) Thompson is the second choice for over 60% of Huckabee leaners in Iowa, according to many polls… Not to mention theres another 50-60% of republicans in Iowa who are still undecided…
Freds going on a 14 day bus tour, and Huck is getting torched for numerous gaffs in the last 2 days.. You may have spoke WAY too soon… Also, take those stats and apply them to South Carolina.. He could easily take SC.. NH is a lovely state, one that Fred i’m sure appreciates, but not a must to win the nomination… He leads in Wisconson, and with Huck failing, Georgia, Florida, Texas, lol, will fall to Fred almost by default…
2)This doesnt even deserve a response, but since your talking about Fred and Jeri, Umm, havent you heard his record with women? He, OMGWTFBBQPWNS other conservatives in THAT category….
