Second, I’m glad to see that I’m not the only who thought “Together We Thrive” was just a clunky, leftist way of saying “United We Stand” – which they obviously can’t use, because the right has owned that phrase since 9/11.
Or more specifically, owned it ever since the left stopped thinking that 9/11 was a bad thing.
I’m not sure that “Together We Thrive” is equivalent to “United We Stand.” To me, “Together We Thrive” is just an unbelievably ghey version of the Marine saying for “work together”:

I love it that these are the same folks (progressives) who want to define civilized debate. They wouldn’t know how to behave appropriately if they had Miss Manners on speed dial. Most of them spent their formative years seeing how much they could get away with and then their college years being reactionaries. They have NO respect for anyone or any thing.
They are just the flip side of the Phelps coin. They should have let the protestors in, it would have been a campaign rally and a mosh pit all at the same time.
