Do you think that maybe CAIR is a false-flag operation, an organization set up by anti-Islam extremists for the sole purpose of convincing the American people that Muslims are either murderous thugs or whiny perpetual victims who hate free speech because it “hurt there feewings”? That’s about the only sense I can make of it.

I think you’re on to something there, Frank. Maybe they’re like the ACLU- completely contradictory to what they claim to be for.
I think they are actually what they seem to be.
I also believe they have a general anti-American agenda and can prove to be very dangerous. The “Flying Imams” (who were in league with CAIR)is one of the best examples of trying to soften the American resolve at reporting suspicious behavior, which benefits terrorists much more than anyone else.
