So liberals are in full noise mode, but a new Gallup poll says that the majority see right through it and believes liberals are bringing up conservative rhetoric out of political opportunism. In addition, 72% say that more gun control wouldn’t have helped.
It really seems that since 2008, liberals have lost ability to convince the American people of anything. Of course, the left aren’t really aware of that because they tend to hang out with each other and see how convincing their arguments are to other liberals and thinks that means anything to the American people at large. And nothing — not even huge election losses — has woken them from their disconnect with normal people.
Just look at Bill Maher uncomfortable appearance on the tonight show. He’s so ignorant about the American people he’s now lashing out hatefully out of delusional fear. Apparently, he really thinks the hundred million conservatives out there are all about to kill him or something. They didn’t commit political violence last year or the year before that or the year before that, but any day now they’re coming for him! He’s sure of it! The completely unrelated violence in Tuscon only reminds him how imminent violent conservatives are. And they must be awful and violent because otherwise why would he hate them so much?
I’m not sure how you snap people out of that when they’re so entrenched in their own ignorance and filled with so much anger at their delusions of what other people are like. I guess we need some sort of tolerance program for liberals to expose them to more conservatives and learn not to be so hateful of them. Or we could say, “Shut up, hippie!” and punch them in the face. That’s kind of what the last election was, though, and that obviously didn’t get through to them.

I gladly stand correctimicated on this one. I also apologize for saying that the middle of the road only dabbles in common sense. That was unacceptably elitist of me. The public is not buying it, and liberal heads are fulminating — a sure sign that explosion is immanent.
On the subject of magazine size, I always love to tell folks that after the first ban on assault rifles, the price of assault rifles rose so much that my buddy was able to sell his HK and buy a truck.
I think this calls for patience and tolerance on our part. We patiently and tolerantly say “Shut up, hippie!” while repeatedly punching them in the face.
Will they learn? No, but why would that matter…
I don’t know why anyone talks to maher. Its not like he is relevant or intelligent. he is just another marxist nut job narcissist that thinks he matters. he is kind of like babs but the nose is smaller.
I find the easiest way to deal with marxists is to just let them know how irrelevant they are by waving your hand and dismissing them as useless. The same way we do rinos.
In the meantime, restock, reload, and recenter.
If you find a liberal who’s become disconnected, please plug them back into the nearest electrical outlet. ~The Management
An A-10, loaded with napalm canisters, with that tank-killin’ gun ready to rock and roll, all flying towards a liberal wouldn’t “get through to them”.
Some humans are simply unable to be reasoned with by other humans.
Like when they take urban kids to petting zoo’s and forest preserves because they have no understanding of actual nature?
There are some liberals I would let pet me. I may bite a few, some for pleasure and others because they deserve it.
@Marko: Ohmigosh! If not depleted uranium rounds, what else could get through to them?
We can’t, because one of liberalism’s Prime Directives (I’ve been dying to use that Star Trek term in a post) is to get a complete divorce from reality. And there’s no hope for reconcilliation. Thus the need for an A-10 with napalm cannisters and the 30mm tank killing gun. It may not get through to them, but hppies running away in flames trying to dodge 30mm shells makes for such a wonderful image, don’t you think?
Infidel, I would very rarely encourage pilots to actually engage the hippies. Rather, I would instruct them to fly low over the hippies and gun the engines or make the wonderful BRRRRRRRRRRRR sound with the gun whenever the hippies attempt to “speak truth to power, man.”
What these hippies fail to understand is they have a tendency to fall in love with dangerous and despotic political philosophies.
The thing that keeps the rest of us from falling off that cliff with them are guns.
That and lots of hippie face punching although we should probably just slap them it’s not nice to punch women like Maher.
I guess Obama’s 2012 campaign will shed “hope and change” and “yes we can” for, “she causes violence, BURN THE WITCH!!!!!”
How about we “pants” a hippie after we punch him in the face? That would show everyone that the hippie is severly lacking in a man package and the racing stripe in his shorts would be of good jokes as well…
Send them all to Mars?
@MarkoMancuso
Just why do you think a liberal would recognize the purpose and capabilities of an A-10 ( hippies – give peace a chance). They would probably just stare and say pretty.
Plug them into the Matrix – give them their Sim utopia, with rainbow unicorns and free virtual marijuana, while they generate electricity for our laser cannons.
There’s no telling how far we could go or how fast we’d get there without the useless 30% of the population holding us back.
PS: Bill says he really hates Newt Gingrich – I may have to re-evaluate my opinion of Newt.
Bill Maher’s uncomfortable appearance on the Tonight Show…I think not! Sounded like the usual lib-tard Hollywood audience to me.
I figured out the reason Dems keep turning funerals and memorials into political events.
They know that that dead people exclusively vote for Democrats.
Bill Maher spends his time wishing he was relevant enough for a conservative to punch him in the face.
@zzyzx: I thought the same might be true, and so I looked for independent confirmation. Very little of the media picked up on his appearance; however, I did find this from the LA Times:
“As a rule, insulting someone’s literacy is not the best way to win an argument, and it certainly wasn’t in this case.”
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/showtracker/2011/01/about-late-last-night-.html
The LA Times is certainly not a conservative run outfit.
Perhaps Burma…perhaps.

Gee, what a great question. I suppose living in West Virginia, which is centrally located enough to be claimed as part of the South, the Northeast, and the Midwest, depending on who you ask, has isolated me from the rest of the population. My job, which entails dealing with the public and my 600+ coworkers 8 hours a day, is very solitary. Perhaps if I were like Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh, with their massive fame and wealth, I would not be so disconnected.
