People do realize that those numbers represent 1st time claims right? That doesn’t include those of us living off our retirement, part time jobs, contract employment, the kindness of family members and the grace of the Lord. Our benefits are long gone. Still unemployed, still have to eat, still need a roof over our heads. No insurance, no benefits, too rich for welfare but eventually that’s where we’ll be. So I’m glad that someone’s getting hired, unfortunately for those of us over 50, it isn’t us.

The fraudulent unemployment claims this year are expected to be only $3 billion thanks to the sequester.
