A Conservative Column Guaranteed Not to Cause Violence

Everyone is worried about rhetoric these days, so in my wrote my new Pajamas Media column in a way to make sure no one could interpret any of it as a call for violence. Please enjoy non-violently.

  1. Is this what happened when Slick Willy…. ooops I mean William Jefferson Blythe III (also known as Bill Clinton) was president? The reason I ask is because I don’t remember the violence in the 90’s. I guess I just blocked it out or was too busy (with a life) to notice.

I heard they blamed Rush Limbaugh for the Oklahoma City bombing but I don’t remember that part of the story. Is that really true? The only thing I remember about the Clinton Era was Dennis Miller skewering the most powerful pervert in the world on a regular basis. I also remember the Chairman Mao pant suits that Hillary wore. What a couple of dysfunctional clowns.

In the 90’s politics was funny. The 90’s Democrats (and the Clintons) were a joke and they proved it daily. People today are way too serious. We should be laughing at the Obama Osama and at Sarah Palin the 1/2 term Governor who quit her job to have a Tea Party! The fact is that they still are ALL still a joke.

  2. Awesome column, Frank. It hit the right tone of sarcasm without any incitement to violence. I mean, I usually read a column and can’t help reaching for my Mauser bolt action rifle or my Mini-14 or my .45 ACP. Sometimes I grab all three. Nope, didn’t think about them one bit. OK, maybe a tiny teensie-weensie bit, but that’s my fault from being a vicious rightwinger. Plus Bantha_Fodder’s comment about Sarah Palin and an orgy got me going. And Son Of Bob did mention hippie punching, but that doesn’t involve the guns. Is it OK to pistol whip hippies?

Damn, there I go thinking violent thoughts again. I’ll blame Bantha-Fodder and Son of Bob. yeah, that’s it.

  3. Speaking of hippies and violence if America had taken a zero tolerance approach to the constitutions commerce clause and its no shirt, no shoes, no service (oh its in there) this hippie problem never would have spiraled out of control and things would be very different today. I am guessing the 60’s would have been like the 90’s and the 70-80’s would have been skipped all together.

  4. @plenty-o: If you see Sarah Palin stalking you in a Snuggie ghillie suit, be afraid, be very afraid. (fixed it)

@Carpenter: It was during the Clinton years that liberals learned the power of demonizing the right as the party of violence. The liberal mantra of the 90’s was, “militias are violent threats to the state.” Clinton “proved” this via massive overkill in national guard attacks on Ruby Ridge and the Waco compound. Liberals blamed the militia movement for the violence that Clinton staged, and then they tied militias to conservatives. Sound familiar?

I’ve posted several times that liberals would travel the same route this year. I was wrong in thinking they would use militias as their vehicle, although in my defense, they started the year by raiding “militia” types of organizations. Loughner was simply a gift for them.

  5. @Burmashave:
OK its all coming back to me. But I was laughing at the left in the 90’s because from my perspective (listening to my pro-commie/liberal/dem relatives and union co-workers) it was funny. They really loved Clinton!

They were so taken in by Slick Willy that they went NUTS if you said a bad word about him. So I just laughed at them (silently). But what else would you expect from the UN-SAVED? What else would you expect from the UN-converted masses who worship a President as if he is a God?

Evangelical Christians today have a unique opportunity today. There has never been a bigger crop of unsaved people to save from Hell. And with the rise of the Tea Pagans and Glenn Beck theres just that much more to do.

  6. See, I think we should take the opposite approach: if liberals are yelling at conservatives for “inciting violence” in normal every day language, I think some of us should go completely off the rails in inciting violence. We should rage loudly and seriously about nuking our political opponents; prophesy rivers of blood flowing from their supporters; scream about legions of troops tearing them limb from limb; predict fire from heaven as God will smite them; swear we kill their entire family and all of their friends, etc.

Just a few mainstream nutjobs like that and all of the actual conservative leaders will seem moderate in comparison.

I mean, that strategy worked out so well for liberals: the elected dems seem less radical because of their legion of truly insane followers like Olberman, DKos, Huffpo, DU, The View, the NYT, etc.

  7. Every Sarah Palin Speech, when played backwards sounds like it says “Drink more Ovaltine.”
Reading Frank’s column using the Halliburton Top Secret Decoder Ring (available at Gun Shows near you!), the message is clear: Nuke the Moon, Punch A Hippie, Save the Cheerleader, Save the World. Or something subversive like that, you decide.
