3D Gun Printing — Problem Solved!

So the State Department has asked the creator of the 3D gun design to remove the blueprint from his site. Because, you know, you can totally block people from downloading something — especially by drawing attention to it with a government crackdown. Smart move, people. Totally got all that toothpaste back in the tube. Love how our government is basically filled with Einsteins — no matter where you turn, there’s a bureaucrat with crazy hair and a mustache. Like Einstein.

Well, 3D gun printing has been stopped now and forever. Anything else we should talk about? Benghazi? No? Hillary in 2016? Alright.

  1. if you can’t print something, how is that not a restriction on freedom of the press? how does a printer differ from a printing press?

and the IRS admits to targeting conservatives, but they admit it was “insensitive” so i guess we forgive them.

  2. I never would have thought about making printable plastic guns, but now that this has hit the front page of Drudge there are probably people working on fully automatic assault rifles, bazookas, and even weapons of mass destruction that can be printed and fitted out with simple metal items from the Home Depot or Lowes. How long before there is an outcry for nail control?

  3. I checked just for fun to see if I could find the plans on bittorrent. Of course I could. Over a couple thousand people seeding them, as well as a page full of quotes from founding fathers citing the second ammendment as a personal right to defend against government tyranny.

    You can’t stop the signal.
