I just read a post at Michelle Malkin’s site and we have to take a moment and say acknowledge heart felt admiration. There have been rare times when liberals do something brave: The time John Edwards checked into a luxury hotel to better study poverty; the time Hillary Clinton, in an effort to be open and honest, had her white house records sealed until 2008; the time Ted Kennedy decided to not have another drink (of course, he had drank all the liquor by that time, but that doesn’t matter.) To this brave list, We’d like to add the name of Jane Fonda.
Jane Fonda and Gloria Steinem bravely set out to establish a radio network made only for feminists. Unfortunately, they were not even close to duplicating the raging success of Air America.
Ironically, they did a lot of things right!
First, they hired mostly women. This is a good move since, statistics show, women make a lot less money than men. This is always a good way to save money. Secondly, if you hire pretty ones, then the delivery drivers handle your packages with greater care. Plus, you can get the water delivery guy to help you put that big heavy bottle onto the cooler for you. Nobody likes doing that.
However, it is not just the conservation of money that impresses us. Personally, we believe that Ms. Fonda would have done well to hire a few Undocumented Radio Dee Jays. Sure, many of them don’t speak the language, but asking them to broadcast in Engish would be very racist. But it is a GREAT way to save on money.
What impresses us is that Ms Fonda and the gals ditched all of their employees without paying them a stitch of severance or helping them continue their healthcare benefits in any way. I find this a good strategy as many women spend all their money on makeup and clothes when they should be spending it on things like gifts for their men.
Besides, now these ladies can spend more time where they belong: the kitchen.
There’s nothing wrong with women who work, every workplace needs women, especially pretty ones that haven’t gotten too fat and still know how to wiggle their cute little tushies.
That’s why today, IMAO would like to offer it’s full support to Ms. Fonda in helping her keep women in their place. Hopefully this will inspire her former employees to go out there and do what they should have done all along – find good men to take care of them. .

Let me start off by saying that was a funny post, RWD. I bet you get more than one piece of hate-mail from some Birkenstock & patchouli oil wearin’ bimbo.
But seriously, how & why is that sorry excuse for a person still alive? I had hoped for YEARS now that some ex-POW would have repaid her in kind for her actions. They disgraced their efforts, sacrifice and suffering.
It was rumored that she recieved bits of paper from POW’s during her ’72 visit to N. Viet Nam & in turn handed them over to the prison camp authorities, which resulted in several deaths of POW’s.
That is actually a fake story with bits of truth in it, but that still doesn’t excuse her for her actions and statements around that time.
She:
Posed with Communist soldiers & anti-aircraft weapons.
Met with POW’s & asked them if they were being treated well & if they were sorry for their actions in Viet Nam
Broadcasted anti-American & pro-Socialist propoganda several times on N. VN radio.
Called the POW’s hypocrites & liars after they made it home and told their stories.
Funneled loads of money to Communist organizations, both here & abroad.
Acknowledged -way after the fact- that she did some wrong things, but the apology was so generic and insincere, mostly because it was issued to get some NE vets off her back during some projects she was working on.
Not to mention that she was a B-list actress at best & never was very good looking anyway.
She still deserves to roast in Hell, no matter how often she apologizes for (and downplays) her treason. She wasn’t just exercising free speech; she was harming our troops & giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
I would never want her skanky-ass in my kitchen OR bedroom. In fact (in the words of my Grandfather, an ex POW from WWII), “I wouldn’t trust her with a dead cat that I didn’t like”.

We have our fair share of prematurely gray haired, birkenstock wearing, angry females out driving their Prius at 50mph in the left lane with “Bush Lied People Died” bumper stickers on the back who will find the failure of this radio station a huge bummer! Well apparently they set out to target women and target women they did – problem is that the female employees had no idea the target was on their backs!

To Alice: Tell hubby that you are suppose to be the one with 51% ownership in the LLC so you can be a woman owned business and grab some of those government grants and other freebies. Every year we have elections in our LLC, and darn if I don’t get voted (by 51%) as CEO every single time.

I watch my weight, eat healthy and get a lot of exercise for one reason and one reason only, so I can outlive Jane Fonda. I plan to join many of my fellow Vietnam Veterans in a party at which we will dance on Jane Fonda’s grave? Heartless? Sure! But I don’t care.
