  1. Can you blame them? It’s P.C. to put feelings before safety.
Wouldn’t it be sadly ironic if those two characters did something heinous in Seattle (where they have an extensive & vital ferry network), and then were recognized AFTER the fact?

  2. You wouldn’t want the Seattle P-I to out its undercover reporters, would you? They’re getting ready for their front page story detailing the best places and times for the terrorists to plant their bombs to cause maximum damage and casualties. As a public service, of course.

  3. Come on, Ducky! We all know the greatest threat to our nation is hurt feelings. We have to make sure that no feelings get hurt… ever.
Well, unless you are a Conservative or Rich or Male or White. And if you are all, current thinking agrees you have no feelings to hurt.

  4. Talk about hurt feelings! I live in the “Soviet State of Washington” and years ago Governor Dixie Lee Ray (former Atomic Energy Commission) said, she wouldn’t use the Seattle P.I for a fishwrapper.

  5. Seattle P-I is running a haiku contest about the incident. Mine was:
    Who are these ‘masked’ men?
    Michelle Malkin has pictures.
    Get your news from her.
you may all snap your fingers now.

  6. Uuuummmm…I live pretty close to the location in question, so I have a question: What does a guy have to do to get labeled as behaving weirdly in Washington State? I mean, that seems like a common identifier for a lot of folks out there.
ROFL: the paper won’t carry the guys pics! That should make identification pretty random. Sort of: we’d love to tell you who you should look for, but we won’t. Please call the FBI if you see anything at all. Might be a good time for a cross country vacation says I Jimmy.

  7. Three out of four ain’t bad, Elephant. And you know, the older you get, the harder it is to hurt your feelings. Just ask me.
I’m snapping my fingers, CO. And the next time I ride the ferries, I’m bringing my digital camera. In 2004, I actually saw guys like that on one of Washington’s ferry routes. They were snapping pictures and acting really weird. I followed them around and made them very nervous. Looking back on it, I should have summoned the Captain and had them questioned. But I was ready to pop them in the chops. No kidding.
Not again, my little moose-lamb friends.

  8. Carolynp – you would be correct to assume that his is THE most serious live topic on this website (in My arrogant opinion! – thanks for the title, Frank).
You figure it….they looked very similar to the photo’s on Malkins website, middle eastern descent, digital cameras all around, taking pictures of gangways, broom closets, galley, seating areas, not looking ANYONE in the eye, sitting together with non-descript looks on their faces and then getting up suddenly to take pictures of the men’s room door.
Makes me want to get a concealled weapons permit.

  9. I resemble that remark. I am afraid of homo’s. They piss me off, the creeps. The other stuff? True, KT. I kid you not. Actually, strangely enough, I’ve never met a homo I didn’t like. I just can’t stand “them” if you know what I mean.

  10. Brian – actually I am paranoid of these bastards. The fact that it’s still going on HERE (after my aforementioned experience) has me a little bit concerned. I was joking the other day with an islander about how pointless it would be to detonate a dirty bomb going TOWARDS one of the islands of Puget Sound. The stupid idiots should do it on ARRIVAL in downtown Seattle with a west wind!
Oh, crap, now I’ve told them how to do it!

  11. Its so sad, liberals would rather die than possibly infringe on someones “civil liberties.” Wheather they are here illegally or not. Do you want to know why the terrorists (alleged or otherwise) are in places like San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, New York, etc…Beacuse they are ran by left wing nim-rods who will not question thier legal status or intentions. I promise they will not be down here in small town Arkansas snooping around bridges and what not. The country boys down here love this country and will not tolerate someone attempting to harm us, we’ll ask them what they are doing, and if they get frisky we’ll just throw them off the bridge.
