With all this controversy over The New Republic, I just want you to know that all IMAO articles are studiously fact-checked.
Now, the fact-checking is just done for our own entertainment as the results are never released and corrections are never issued, but I just want you to know that we’re never ignorant of when we’re outright lying to you. How many other news organizations can make that claim?
I feel stupid whenever I type LOL, but that’s exactly what that made me do.
Um…they all can. They all know they are lying.
Well done FrankJ. It is always best to know the facts behind whatever it is you are lying about. That way you don’t look stupid and dishonest. People will forgive dishonesty, especially if you can pass it off as an honest mistake and that’s hard to pull off if you are stupid and uninformed.

WE always tell the truth. Except when we’re lying. Or writing stuff. Or blogging. Or making fun of John Edwards. But we never lie at dusk- nope, NEVER. Never at dusk.
AND we also hired on a fact checker. Steve Glass was a bright kid and he needed the work. He’s FABULOUS.
