Saving the Planet: by John Edwards

as told to IMAO.
John Edwards recently suggested that American’s give up their SUV’s in order to save the environment. Sometimes, quotes can be taken out of context. We felt it only fair, in the interest of balance, to air this Public Service Announcement.

This has been a public service announcement. John Edwards is the author of the book Don’t Tease: A Guide To International Diplomacy and Haircare. He is also running for President of the United States.

  1. We must keep up the pressure on Edwards. It would be a disaster if the Democrats were to nominate him. A total universe-altering, gravity-warping, time-bending megadisaster, almost as bad as Emperor Bush or Viceroy Chenius getting impeached.

  2. It’s no longer a presidential run. It’s more of a ponderous, lethargic stroll that began the day after the mid-term elections. By this time next year I’ll be so friggin’ bored that I’ll have a tougher time deciding whether to eat a bullet or just drive into a bridge abutment. Man I hate this!
    Sorry. Me cranky.

  3. this is hilarious – particularly in light of the Census data on poverty just released that says basically that most “poor” in America have a car, cable TV, etc… I tell ya, bein’ poor ain’t what it used to be….

  4. That’s funny RightWingDuck. The last line is probably not how Edwards would speak though. He wouldn’t say “vote for me” because he knows the people that would actually vote for him would be looking all over the ballot for “Me”. If they didn’t find it, like Leo said above, they would start filing lawsuits immediately.
